Bony on 58k a week?!

Bloody hell.

Re: Training Ground Punch Up Down West

Mon Apr 14, 2014 10:18 pm

It seems there's friction between the newer high earners and the older players I didn't think Bony would be on that much though

Re: Training Ground Punch Up Down West

Mon Apr 14, 2014 10:26 pm

Absolute madness.

He scores (unimportant) goals but that's not the prudent Swansea we've come to know and hate.

Re: Training Ground Punch Up Down West

Mon Apr 14, 2014 10:34 pm

It sounds like the Mail is being leaked info from someone inside Swansea as well as us

Yup, they got the Chico brick scoop too.

Football side I think all the papers apart from the Star are about as accurate as each other.

Although I would argue the opposite of whatever Durham writes even if he said we were going to stay up.

They're not the "perfect" club their fans claim they are then

Re: Training Ground Punch Up Down West

Thought they had a good wage structure? Bony has been good for them but in no way he is worth 58k a week. Although the Mail could be wrong and are adding in bonuses and such.

Re: Training Ground Punch Up Down West

Tue Apr 15, 2014 12:33 am

I heard bony eat vorms golden Grahams

Being prudent is simply spending what the club can afford.

That is what we do.

"Being prudent is simply spending what the club can afford.

As well as team brawling of course. :laughing6: :laughing6:

So it seems.

We are not the first side to have players not get along and we wont be the last.

It happens.

I think if we had signed bony at 58k instead of Cornelius at 45k we would be out of danger by now

Its hardly surprising is it really. Its crystal clear Monk doesnt have the respect of the players, not the foreigners anyway.

This was happening under Laudrup too.

Correct, there was lack of respect for Monk when he was just a player and Laudrup was in charge.

It has nothing to do with monk, these squabbles have been happening as far back as last season.

Fact.

Canas, Pozuelo, Williams and Shelvey are the names I have been given, but there is more apparently.

Canas and Pozuelo dropped from the squad last game.

Seems it is the new spanish lot again. Chico not involves this time though. But if i were to guess knowing who is mates with who then Vasquez is probably another one involved.

Chico and Monk having a scrap, ending with Chico taking a brick to Monk, has nothing to do with Monk.

OK

So you are talking about one incident? :?

Thats like blaming Poland for World War 2.

There have been several of these bust ups, it started under laudrup with Monk having nothing to do with it what so ever apart from acting as mediator.

Sounds like your squad needs a major overhaul. With the exception of Rangel I'd get rid of the Spanish lot.

Agreed.

Pozuelo, canas and vasquez dont have a future here.

Hernandez is class but is also a tw*t by all accounts. Ship him out too.

There will be changes pre season.

It's things like this that could see you lose your next 4 games. Equally it being out in open could lead to the match day squad being galvanised. I'm hoping for my first suggestion.....

So your hero Canas doesnt have a future then. Shame.

My hero? Because he shows that Medel is a ridiculous waste of money? That must make 19 of the 20 starting DMC's in the Prem my heroes too then

No he doesnt, not fit to lace brittons boots.
