Jacks v Villa April 26th

Sat Apr 12, 2014 9:36 pm

Looking at the fixture list for the next fortnight, if Swansea lose at home to Villa in two weeks time, :laughing6: they could easily find themselves in the bottom 3 by the end of this month.

Don't get your hopes up, we need to get out of it first

Hold the bus now mate!

We have similar fixtures to the jacks except we play stoke rather than villa. I know which one I'd rather play and it's from Birmingham!

Stoke are a tough side with some quality finishers and physical threats all over the pitch. We will win if we match our very best form and OGS gets the team right.

The time to gloat over the jacks is when they can't overtake us mathematically. Then I will be joining in with the best of them.

Until then, beware! :old:

Jesus Christ they are all out tonight. :D

You have FOUR games to try and get 5 more points than what we get in FIVE games.

I didn't say it was us who would be replaced by Swansea. The fact is you are, in effect, just 4 points above the bottom three. While it is still unlikely that you will go down, stranger things have happened. You are not exactly setting the league alight this season. Lets face it, we have been absolutely crap this season, and you have only 4 more points than us.

We have played close to a season and a half worth of games thats why.

3 teams go down.

Sunderland are down as far as im concerned.

Norwich are below us and their 4 games left are Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham

And you need to gain 5 more points on us in your 4 games than in our 5.

Believe it or not, I agree with you! For us, the end of the season is about 17th place or better. Trying to chase one team is a red herring. We need points and Soton was a start, but it needs sustained effort. Can't see the jacks losing to Villa or Sunderland so that's another 6 points to chase. It's just the wrong focus.

Still want to beat you mind!!!!!!
