Agree. It's a shame Ole didn't have a full summer pre season, I think we would be mid table easy, along with his own signings.

Hopefully he will in this league but if not then hopefully he will lead us back up next season and i'm sure he will prepare us properly for the premiership. :ole:

Daelhi (spl) looks like he has an excellent future.
What do people think of Zaha today? I thought he did well and went along way to making up for last week..

we was getting criticised for the first half performance but I think ole got that right, frustrate them early on and make them run out of steam then start to play more attacking and it worked a treat, and as for zaha he actually did well on few occasions and he went on one hell of a run and that's what I have been hoping to see from him

Spot on today, although we could easily have lost this one. But i guess we had this one coming. The problem we have imo, is movement and pace. If the rest of the team could move like young matts, there would be a lot of more options for players when looking for a pass. Same problem against Palace, and we have to play long balls instead of keeping the ball in the team.
Spot on with tactics packing midfield today :ayatollah:

I think Cala should be taking Medel's place, who's been making lots of mistakes and lacking concentration lately. That means a much more incisive passing foot in the defensive midfield position.

Against Chelsea, they should both play as defending midfielders, with Eikrem and Whittingham in front of them. That could be the key to an extremely important point.

Last thing we need is to start messing about with possitions. Esp with a cb playing midfield. Turner gives the ball away 90% of the time, he cannot start anymore games. Nononono.

From what i have seen of Eikrem he has a similar skill set to whitts and he lacks pace so i don't think he is what we need right now. Whitts is very valuable on set pieces and has a lot more experience and knows his team mates well so he has to start. Also don't think we need to tamper too much with the starting line up. The only person i would consider leaving out from yesterdays team is Kim. Zaha or Bellamy on instead.
