LEICESTER CITY, MANCHESTER UNITED, ZAHA

Recently-promoted Leicester City are set to make a move for Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha in the summer.

Nigel Pearson is weighing up a bid for the England international, in an attempt to bolster their squad for life in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old winger has found playing time hard to get and has struggled to make an impact in the top-flight of English football.

Zaha could be off to the King Power Stadium in the summer

Zaha, who is currently on-loan at Cardiff City is unhappy at Manchester United could force a move away from Old Trafford in the summer.

The Foxes secured promotion to the Premier League last weekend, and return to the top-flight for the first time since 2003/04, and Zaha is believed to be at the top of Pearson’s transfer wish-list.

Why are we turning on our players? He's a raw inexperienced player who didn't know how to handle the situation. Surely it's better to have him onside with support rather than berate and boo him. The players need us on side not getting on their backs.

He's not really our player but that is splitting hairs.

People have turned on him because his attitude stinks and he has no desire to put a shift in. You can't expect to be liked by fans if you show no commitment or fight, also considering our current situation you should demand every player give their all every game.

If he had the ability to compensate for his awful attitude then the reaction wouldn't be so bad, but he doesn't have it and probably will never have the ability that he is hyped up to.

That's true, so will kenwyne jones be getting the same 'boo' treatment the next few games as he's been worse in my opinion in terms of effort and willingness to put a shift in. I'm not expecting him to be liked by our fans, I just feel we should be 'supporting' our players as supporters (excuse the pun) as they need all the backing available at the moment. It doesn't help the situation if we are turning against our own players who wear the shirt.

Think he made it clear what he thinks about us...Why try to support a player that doesn't want to be here

Well Zaha hasn't been booed so no I don't expect Jones to get any. But fans have turned on Jones already, maybe not to the extent of Zaha but he certainly isn't very popular right now.

I support every player who crosses the white line from 1st minute to last. But Zaha doesn't want to be here, he won't care if we go down so I find it hard to support him really. If he somehow removed his head from his arse and put a shift in then I'll appreciate him a lot more.

You'd be surprised how many players currently at the club don't really care about the club and only want to play in the premier league. I just think that's Zaha's general attitude, he's not a grafter never has been from what I've seen of him.

I reckon zaha will have stick if he starts for Cardiff again, fans have already made up their minds on him sadly. If we were safe then there wouldn't be an issue, but as we are stuggling we as Cardiff fans need a scapegoat. Always been the same.

He doesn't need to say it verbally.....his body language and general demeanour speaks volumes. I support players who show on the field that they want to be here. Campbell isn't the best player but I always get the impression that he tries his heart out every game. He also clapped and acknowledged the crowd after Saturdays game. Zaha just seems to be in a bubble and everyone else seems to be invisible to him, especially the supporters.

Oh I am not that naive to think every player cares for this club, I'd say only a handful do. But at least most give effort. If Zaha loses the ball he just doesn't care and takes his position back on the flank which is frustrating.

Yeah every club has a scapegoat and Zaha is probably justified, not all the time but the hate for him has risen since the Palace game and I defiantly see why. Easily the worst player on the pitch. But I do agree with you that if we were safe the backlash wouldn't be this bad.

He is old enough to know respect - he has got a stinking attitude and I will boo him if he ever makes an appearance in a city shirt again

They can fecking have him, looks like he is going to waste his talent and end up just another bit part player, I predict he will move from club to club as Managers think they can be the one to get the most from him.....

I agree with this. Zaha may well have been disappointing to date, but he has obvious talent, as we saw to our own detriment last season and the season before

There may be several reasons he hasn't "hit the heights" at the CCS, such as the way he was treated at ManUre, but to write him off completely is (IMHO) exceptionally short-sighted and I feel Zaha will come good when his confidence is restored and when someone (maybe not Ole) gives him a feeling of 'belonging'

Still a part to play at Cardiff City FC in our closing games, even if that is from the bench! :ayatollah:
