" You dont have to sell your soul and I have sympathy for Cardiff fans. "

Cardiff City.
I have Sympathy for Cardiff fans for the position they are in,but not for the owner Vincent Tan, he has destabilised the whole club.
They spent years trying to get to the promised land of the Premier league, had various managers, got to the play-offs....a real emotional roller-coaster.
Finally they get a young manager in Malky Mackay who wins them promotion only for the owner to get rid of him,who has changed the colour of their shirts and has alienated the fans, you dont have to sell your soul.
Tan sacked a very good manager and brought in someone who we very much respect in this country in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, only for him to be faced with an unbelievable task in his first job as a Premier league manager.
Tan has had to stick with him even though he has done nothing to improve on what Malky had achieved.
" Its a Shambles "
A shambles upstairs and a shambles on the pitch. And they will go down.

Agreed

He's spot on really, it's been a nightmare. Every decision made by the clown makes no sense what so ever, just whatever suits him in his crazy head. I prey we'll have Cardiff City back one day !

Sacking Malky made perfect sense. Other decisions have not.

I have to totally agree Ian Wright and the rest of the world and the majority of Cardiff fans are spot on about Tan. I just cant understand why some City fans cant see it.

Yeah but some fans can't see the obvious......either that or they're just wind-up merchants

Ian Wright is a massive mong, up there with Collymore, Lawro and Dunham for media pricks

I like Ian Wright as he's an honest pundit...Some think he's stating the obvious, well so what, having a pundit like that share our views is a bonus in my opinion.....
Shambles is right...
AND sacking Malky was NOT the right decision - you can only say its the right decision if the replacement you bring in improves things. Ole has brought in seven players, tinkered with the team and we have got worse/not improved - he should go at end of season (even if he pulls off the miracle)

This isn't what Rush says though. Only half of his interview was posted here, he goes on to say this:
Ian Rush urges Cardiff City to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer time

Former Wales and Liverpool striker Ian Rush believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deserves time to prove his worth at Cardiff City.
The Welsh outfit are in danger of being relegated to the Championship due to currently being placed second from bottom in the Premier League table.
Following last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, the Bluebirds are six points adrift of safety with five games left to play.
"He's there now, give the lad time and see what he can do," BBC Sport quotes Rush as saying. "If Cardiff do get relegated - hopefully they don't - you say [to Solskjaer] 'your job now is to get us back in that Premiership' and give the man a chance to do that.

Because some City fans, namely those from outside Cardiff, are easily swayed by money. No class in the valleys

Cardiff City and Vincent Tan will always be remembered in history.
If one day another foreigner invests/takes over another club and decides to re-brand them, they can use Cardiff City as an example - FAILURE!

Not at all. Take the meeting at the Municipal as an example. Almost exclusively Cardiff folk on one side and valleys on the other. Its not difficult to work out why.

Ian Wright: Cardiff City a 'shambles upstairs and a shambles on the pitch'
Tuesday Apr 10, 2014 By Simon Gaskell
The ex-Arsenal striker delivered a withering assessment, tipping the Bluebirds to go down and blaming Vincent Tan for 'destabilising' the club
Former England striker Ian Wright has slammed Cardiff City as "a shambles upstairs and a shambles on the pitch" - as he tipped them to fall through the Premier League trap door.
The 50-year-old said he felt for the Bluebirds faithful but had less sympathy for owner Vincent Tan who he blamed for destabilising the club in their debut season in the Premier League.
He added Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had been faced with an "unbelievable task" when appointed in January to keep the Bluebirds up and was categorical in his belief they will be relegated, saying: "they will go down".
Wright made the remarks as he delivered his verdict on each of the Premier League's relegation candidates in his column in The Sun newspaper.
Turning his attention to Cardiff, he said: "I have sympathy for Cardiff fans for the position they are in - but not for the owner Vincent Tan.
"He has destabilised the whole club.
"They spent years trying to get to the promised land of the Premier League, had various managers, got to the play-offs...a real emotional roller-coaster.
"Finally, they get a young manager in Malky Mackay who wins them promotion, only for the owner to get rid of him, change the colour of the shirts and alienate the fans.
"You don't have to sell your soul when you get promoted, yet Tan sacked a very good manager and brought in someone who we very much respect in this country in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, only for him to be faced with an unbelievable task in his first job as a Premier League manager.
"Tan has had to stick with him even though he has done nothing to improve on what Malky had achieved.
"It's a shambles upstairs and a shambles on the pitch. And they will go down."
When asked to give his tips for the drop, Wright said he believed Sunderland would go down with Cardiff and said Fulham would also go down should Norwich get a result at Craven Cottage this weekend.
He added: "Cardiff and Sunderland are going down with either Fulham or Norwich to join them.
"Those two clubs are due to meet at Craven Cottage on Saturday - and if the Canaries win then I reckon they will be the ones staying up."

I take it you are from Cardiff? If so you must be the exception that proves your own rule.
I live in the Valleys, though born and bred Cardiff - making general statements about everyone that lives in both places is just nonsense.

So the bias of support for VT wasn't from outside of Cardiff? I would say that is nonsense

I'm cross with myself for bothering to respond, but you are way out of order slagging the Valleys off chief, and to link it to Tan is frankly laughable.
