When people are now blaming the previous management for the sale of Rudy Gestede.

A player that was universally criticised in his time at the club. I wish we never sold him, I said that at the time. I like to stay loyal to players though, I am not a glory hunting cretin like those Hull fans that have recently voted for a found pounds of investment, (even though the owner should do that anyway) in place of history and integrity. Alot of ours fans would do that, they've smelt the glamour of the Premier League and they get would get molested by Tan if it meant we bought a talented johnny foreigner.

Moan all you want, Solksjaer is taking us down. The performances under him have been some of the most inept football displays I have witnessed in my entire life. That is not an over statement.

Have a look at what you are moaning about and what you have previously said. The same people that hated Gestede are the same ones that are now blaming 'He who shall not be be named' for selling him. Talk about an agenda. I'll say it again, Solksjaer is taking us down, that is what I will remember him for. I'll remember 'He who shall not be named' for getting us promoted, turning a squad of 9 players into a playoffs contender, league cup semi finalist and a championship winner.

All the talk in the summer about how "I hope we just scrape to stay in the prem, I'd keep 'He who shall not be named' regardless", "It is going to be tough, lets stick together". That lasted until about the 6th game in and people were calling for *cough* to be sacked. Within a month we had turned into glory hunters without an ounce of integrity and by boxing day 2013, we lost the only credible, respectable (in the eyes of the British public) asset we had.

The ammount of people who have a complete turn around in opinion on players, managers & tan etc - its pathetic

Personally I never slated gestede - neither did I big him up as a brilliant striker: he did a job and is also a really decent bloke

But the responses before was a 90% majority of 'hes a donkey'

He starts scoring a few goals now and people are thinking we made a mistake in selling him

We have notoriously fickle fans - which everyone knew before this message board even existed

Agree on Mason & Campbell. Not sure if I'd prefer Jones to Gestede simply due to difference in wages paid and work rate.
Have a feeling Maynard is past it with his injuries.

I think Gestede was good for the club and will get better aswell - but he definatly isnt premier league standard... yet

Your rant has no credibility unless you start naming the posters who have had these about turns your speak of? Rudy is a mid table championship player, that's where he is now and that's where he belongs We had bigger ambitions than that and so Rudy was excess baggage. Your right he was universally criticised and nothing has changed the majority would not have him back

I think the problem is more that Rudy looked on par or better than 8m Corenlius and we had no striker capable of keeping us up. That is where the blame lie

Jones has already contributed more to the season in the small time he's been here than cornelius ever would have. Cornelius couldn't trap a bag of cement. Even tho jones is not spectacular, he offers a lot more than cornflake and Gestede ever did.
