Absolutely embarrassing, MILKY(don't edit that now) was useless with money along with his bum buddy Moody

Championship highest wages to turnover: Cardiff 189%, Bristol City 170%, Hull 153%, Middlesbrough 146%, Forest 146%.

Ye and we won the League. Got promoted, which will give the club a shit load of money.

But tan tells you he wasted money so you bitch about him. Even though tan is racking in tens of millions of pounds regardless of where we finish.

How in anyway is that embarrassing? We came 1st.

Must be some peoples time of the week, constant moaning about previous management instead of blaming the retard we have in charge now.

Then you moan about people talking about Malky and Moody

Re: Cardiff top wages table

The fact that an unsuccessful squad is on such high wages?

Re: Cardiff top wages table

Wed Apr 09, 2014 8:21 am

189% of turnover on wages.

That is beyone insane

Re: Cardiff top wages table

Wed Apr 09, 2014 8:22 am

Championship teams don't have that high wages.

QPR have a wage bill twice ours and they went down.

We finished 1st in that league and Tan will pocket over £100 million in TV deals and parachute payments from the success of that team.

Solksjaer is taking us down.

Simply unacceptable, yet apparently Malky was astute in the window!! May have won the Champ but wow at what cost

Re: Cardiff top wages table

The question I would ask is that is it Tan's money he's putting in or just loaning it and increasing the debt to the club?

£17m i think your income was, which means wages were around £30m. They tend to double on promotion as a rule, which makes yours £60m?!

Add that to £50m of transfer fees, the expansion, the training ground etc etc etc and you are in a whole world of debt.

Re: Cardiff top wages table

Wed Apr 09, 2014 8:30 am

The club is badly run, there is no doubt about it, which is why I think we'll plummet down the leagues under Solksjaer. But please don't tell me Mackay and Moody are to blame. They got us promoted and as I've said, the benefits of getting promotion last year are huge with the TV deal and parachute payments.

Alot of people talk as if the club don't have financial advisers and Tan is an innocent bystander. He just okays anything then when it goes wrong he starts to throw the blame card around, like 80% of the posters on here.

Re: Cardiff top wages table

OMFG! If anyone cannot see milky going was best for our club then they need their heads tested. It's not all about success, i would prefer we stay in the championship than see our club rack up debts like that. All some people care about is success, personally I would like to see our club in a better financial position.

Yes the prem brings extra funds, but wouldn't it be best to find a manager who can achieve prem success without raping the club of all its money.

Aye, and Tan is one of them, he wanted PL football, Malky delivered, did he overspend....yes, but Tan got what he wanted, the prestige of owning a PL club.

£33m apparently, only lower than Blackburn and Wolves, embarrassing when you consider how small our swuad was in the 2011/2012 season and the fact Malky asked for more this season

I dread to think what next year's reports will come out as, the fact this is just Championship wages makes me sick, Malky was such an awful manager with transfers, wow

Plus thanks to MALKY, City earned up to £160 mill  :bluescarf:

What do you think the wages are now with Ole and Co? plus 7 new players, I know they are even higher.

Obviously the wages are higher as we needed more players. The difference is Ole hasn't thrown 45 large a week at our new 'one for the future' Daelhi. He is on modest wages I have been told which is about right for an unproven youngster. Malky had to be stopped from risking our clubs financial future, and rightfully was. Yes he made the club money by getting to the prem, but he was wasting to much money on transfers that were doing fucall with high wages.

They didn't, Brucy bought very well. Even in Jan spending 13 mil on long and jelavic, which is a shame that malky threw so much away as maybe ole might of had the chance to buy them 2, or someone just as good. Even that numpty holloway managed to invest better than malky. Just because someone gets a team to the prem it doesn't mean they have the right to throw away millions, the next test for a manger is to spend will and build for the next level, which malky was unable to do.

Wouldn't be surprised. When Jones signed for Stoke he was a top striker so he would have been on a lot there. Same with Zaha at a massive club like Utd

You thought the bird on the badge was going to be red and brought the news on to here and you were proven wrong, Jones is on 45k a week and Zaha 60k. Zaha is going back to United anyway and we'll be rebuilding a team. I don't think anyone can justify Cornelius on 45k and Smith on 30k

But the bird on the badge is red for a lot of the staff and it is for the summer sports wear, a fact.

60k for Zaha and 45k for Jones

You may try to find an excuse for Solksjaer, but good grief, have an unbiased view for once.
