I'm not sure, some of the evidence from the prosecution is dicey to say the least and Mr Roux has torn many of the witnesses a new arsehole. Some have been made to look like complete liars

He admitted shooting her and shooting on sight is illegal in South Africa either way unless there is a very real threat of lethal harm.

To be fair though, if you have seen how paranoid the white minority are in African countries you would maybe have a more balanced view.



The documentary, 'Mugabe and White African' is quite eye opening The father and son above have their lives destroyed by the black majority ,that show equal to worse care for the opposite races well being as the apparent 'evil' white minority are known for.



They lived alone on a farm, in peace and look at what happened to them when they took the local goverment to to court after they kept trying to evict them.

Call me a racist all you want, but alot of black Africans are not civilised and never, ever will be, which is not always their fault as there is next to no education system. Africa as a continent is a violent place, I don't see why this is such a suprise, white Africans have to defend their homes if they want to survive.

Nothing has really moved on in south Africa since apartide. Its still as violent as ever over there. The blacks are still poor, and the whites look to isolate themselves away from the townships etc in gated communities with private security, through fear for there safety. I have to say, if I lived there, I'd be tooled up to the eyeballs and paranoid aswell. White farmers do have a raw deal over there. Most of them pay extorsinate rates to private security firms just to stop there properties from being attacked.

He is as guilty as a puppy sitting next to a pile of shit.

I would probably look to take the intruder out before looking for family members.

Saying that, who knows? Maybe he did do it on purpose. All I've seen so far are guilty verdicts by people loosely following the case.

I'm just amazed that with all the bloodshed in Africa, people being massacred daily by uncivilized governments (With a massive correlation between them) it is the death of a white women by a white man that makes headlines.

No one will ever know except pritorious. To me he should atleast be charged with manslaughter, he shouldn't get away scot free as he's killed an innocent person at the end of the day.

The whole trial is a farce whether he is guilty or not guilt - it is such a corrupt system

There is no Jury system due to institutionalized racism within the country - its all decided on by the judge

I just don't understand how a man living in the wealthiest area of South Africa - A barbed wire & electric gated private compound, patrolled 24 hours a day by armed private security with guard dogs & CCTV cameras, could think that a noise in his bathroom is DEFIANTLY an intruder and fire his gun without so much as a warning?

I know South Africa is a dangerous place to live but.. it seems to ridiculous to me that he is innocent
