Good.

Get the money back before people realise how good he really is.

Won't get much money back due to the bloody huge sell-on fee but least we can build for the next division. He's been dodgy as of late as well

Pool like to over pay for english players so we might get a decent fee for him.

He has got worse as the season has gone on and hasnt set the world alight but he has been surrounded by shit as well. Always dangerous at corners and can pop up with goals. Would be happy to get money back and thank him for his goal against the jack bastards.

Brendan Rogers had Caulker at Swansea and raved about him and has had him watched this season, so Ive heard and it is the one position he has probs at centre half at Liverpool.

Spurs have first refusal built into his contract.

Has age on his side, which should add to his value.

There's only one sucks that would pay 9 mil for caulker, and his names milky mackay.

Re: Caulker on his way to Liverpool

I could more or less guarantee he would be going back to Spurs even if they do have first refusal - at least not whilst Daniel Levy is there

Re: Caulker on his way to Liverpool

I strongly believe for one reason or another I believe he will go for more than what we paid for him not much more though , so assuming their is a large percentage sell on clause in Tottenham's favour ( lets be fair nobody here has seen the original Caulker/Spurs transfer contracts) I can see us walking away with a million or two profif on the deal.

Looking for any personal solace I can glean from him leaving is that I will be able sometime in the near future be watching Caulker playing for England on a regular basis and thinking to myself with a satisfactory smile he use to play for Cardiff City :bluescarf: .

If we can get our money back I'd be happy with that.

Re: Caulker on his way to Liverpool

Some people on here think Caulker has not played as good as he has been hyped up to be! when the fact is he may not cover every blade of grass in our half of the pitch but he does his fair amount of work added with his clever football brain which is way ahead of anything we have here .

Also it is so easy to forget he is only 20 and if you can compare anyone else in the squad for "future potential" then Declan John has to be the near equivilent as a gauge of which Steven Caulker wins by a mile.

We can always add weight to Caulkers defence is that with the exception of Marshall he is playing in a merciless position when has had to rely on the dross he has been expected to organise and depend on !.

When he joins Liverpool he will blossom and eat the Premiership up, it is my belief it will be a relationship that will mutually benefit Caulker and Liverpool hughley .

England international at a young age, we should demand 15 million or so because clubs are surprisingly stupid to pay the inflated prices.

Got the makings of a captain for me but too young to be a captain. Too much pressure, should be Marshall for me.

Ask yourselves why Tottenham were in such a hurry to get rid of him.

He has a certain rep up here in the smoke.

Lets just say he has a lot of vices and Rogers is well aware of them, was he
not arrested whilst on the piss when he was with Swansea?

When the fire sale starts Vincent Tan will jump at £5 million .

Player of the season for me (with Medel close second)...How anyone would want to slag this guy off is beyond me..He's been outstanding - Is he likely to chose to stay in the championship - Unlikely....If he moves to a top five team like the mickey mousers or Yids then I'll wish him all the best and thank him for his service...

However, in the unlikely event that the club don't cash in and HE decides to stay he'll be a hero..

Shows how silly Tottenham are, everyone is fully aware of his potential and how he has coped with Premier League at early age.. if they had sense they could work with him and clean up his act.

We seemed happy with Chopra, what he done on the pitch was brilliant for me.. sad to see him ruin his life in ways but didn't concern me.

I don't think people are slagging off his football ability but is organisational skills as the captain and general of our defence leave a lot to be desired. I've never noticed a cardiff team in all the ones I've watched drop their shoulders so much when a goal is conceded and he's included in this. Hudson would make an howler himself but would still try to rally the troops.
