Alex, What was the wording of the ballot?
Hull City 'Ulltras @Cityultras 1m
They only reason you won that ballot allam is because of your ludicrous wording of the ballot question

I've no idea, would certainly be interesting to see the questions posed.

Well that's fine, but I'd be shocked about it!

I said it would be the minute the vote was announced to take place. These owners are able to come in make decisions on the whim and when it doesn't go there way hold the fans to ransom.
They will now use this vote to oppose the Fa's decision and allow the name change to go through which will be a major issue for us if it happens

Yes just seen it.

Nothing wrong with the wording. Its quite clear. Accept name change and take money or dont accept.
nothing ambiguous about it.
Mon Apr 07, 2014 4:24 pm
I love the bit that more or less says " we need this due to revenues and to sustain premier league status" Another looney owner putting the scaremonger tactics out there for fans to agree on or the club might go down if there not called hull city

Totally clear would be a simple "yes" or "no".
Although I can't see what's too leading about it.

15,000 season ticket holders were eligible to vote, yet only 5000 odd did and half of those expressed their support of a name change, that tells me that the owner has a mandate to change the name. Hull Tigers it is, wonderful thing us modern day supporters, aren't we.

its how it is here.............if tan said he would stay no matter what outcome blue would win hands down..........but the minute he included a far from clear or stable future wouldnt be so clear..
shocked at the lack of votes in total at Hull..and mystified why anyone would bother voting no preferance
Mon Apr 07, 2014 4:57 pm
Does this mean it can happen? Sellouts!
Mon Apr 07, 2014 5:08 pm
It's very loaded gun. But Hull are doing well pose something similar with us in an FA cup final and comfortable in the league and you'd get similar results. Unfortunately.

2.6k fans have destroyed the club with a simple tick. Have a backbone ffs and put aside the immediate investment of a foreigner.
Mon Apr 07, 2014 5:36 pm
The reds on here probably voted over there to legitimise what Tan is doing here. Pathetic by those people if true.

pathetic if it was just made up by you also.................it was open to season ticket holders,so if the imaginary red army voted they hold hull season tickets.

Wouldn't surprise me, anything to cling on to Premier league football.

It was worded so it means except the name change with the Alam backing or dont. Seems just like Tans bullshit of Blackmail. Very clevef and I hope the FA see right through it.
I bet Tan will give it I will walk and you will go bust and die in ghe near future. I bet close season you wait and see.

only 17% of those eligible to vote said no to tigers......over 9000 didnt bother to vote at all..

It's just bollox. No City fan would also hold a Hull season ticket, that's just ridiculous. Nobody actually WANTS the red anyway, and as for holding on to premier league football a vote in Hull isn't going to suddenly conjour up 10 points for us
All that's happened is that most of the Hull fans care more about the success of their club than the name. Their choice.
I'd be interested in seeing the whole question (the one above has half of it obscured) - was the future of their club put into question ? If so it would make a lot of people think twice - and therefore not really a fair question.

it was pretty obvious this would be the result up there and thought if the hull vote went this way Tan would follow suit........not so sure now seeing the result, very close..and lots not bothered either way..very risky no matter how its worded.

No one wants the red ? I will scream if I hear that one more time. Buy the red kit = want the red. Except it for the reasons for the sake of the club etc but not endorse it. Anyway I have seen plenty that love it. And I done a poll on here saying if we could go back to blue and keep our investment and a high % wanted to keep the red

Most people who bought the kit weren't interested in the politics behind it.
My wife bought one for my 10-year old when they came out.
Lots of others just bought it because it was the current kit.
It doesn't mean anyone actually wanted red as a preference over blue.
Interested to see your poll though
