Ole is NOT scared!

Sun Apr 06, 2014 9:03 pm

After the loss against Crystal Palace people on this forum have gone bananas. Ole out? Tan & Ole out? Tan is in some way responsable for making a bunch of Cardiff Fans into people with Delusional disorder, but infact you can only controll yourself, so the blame has to lay with you foremost) All this flipflopping has to stop. My point in this post is that even tho you have plenty to be angry and frustrated about, you really have no right to blame anyone for not succed at this level, and not staying in the Premier League. This is my view on the season:

Malky brought in players and was probably not satisfied when he saw what he had purchased of players. Maybe he thought the only way the team could survive in Premier League was with defensive football with no real attacking mentality. Maybe he didnt see his squad as strong enough, and maybe the players felt that themselfes walking onto the pitch with no attacking plan, no form or momentum developed and with a feeling of being the underdog for every match. The managers plan worked decent and the team did a few good results, but again it was no form or momentum and they kept being the underdog.

The talk was:
Red vs Blue
Tan vs Malky

The football was boring and bad, results likewise and fans constantly talking about issues happening off the pitch.

Tan won. Malky had to leave. Fans was upset for a while but a new man was in town.

Now you have:
Tan & Red + Solskjær vs Malky & Blue

It doesnt make any sense really. You should get behind the new manager and give him time. He has managed to take a team regarded as a team with no attacking ability and made the team score a few goals and play some entertaining football. That is progress. What he hasnt managed is to turn shit to gold. You had a defensive attitude, yet not very good defensively records. That tells me the defensive players must have been a little bit to weak for the Premier League. You had a bad goal records since Malky probably didnt think players was good enough to play and score. Ole came and did the opposite. He changed it around. He made the team play in an entertaining way, but neither he got the results he wanted with his team and his tactics. Also due to the defensive weaknesses. Going forward you conceeded more goals, as the squad wasnt good enough. Maybe Malkys way would have worked but you will never find that out. Its a big guess and takes away your natural view of a new manager that wish you all the best. You go against him now, and want him out after all he has done for you in these 3 months? That sentence is as patethic as you wanting him out after 3 months, you dont have to think about it neither. It's evident. I want to add that Cardiff has game for game been very unlucky in many games, that is football. Both Ole and Malky's team had their chances, but wasnt clinical enough or did not have the luck to be consistent with their results.

Tan is the man who took you to the Premier League, so if you blame him for not staying up in the league… That is very very stupid on your behalf. If you have stayed with your view on Tan regarding changing colours and you do not really care about being in the Premier League, but only care about the colour of your homeshirt, then you have my respect. If you wear red because color itself maybe doesnt matter so much to you and you stay behind Tan even if you go down and keeps following the team nomatter what colors is played in, then you have my respects.

If you wore red, changed back to blue and is now blaming Tan and Ole for making your life miserable and for that you cant watch your red team in PL next season, you have not my respect for that, and should really think about your values more, and shut up when its time to stay quiet.

If you have always wore blue, always fighted for the blue and against Tan, but at the same time had high hopes for Ole to be your Premier League saviour in some time, then stopped supporting him when the team kept loosing and showing itself as a team just not good enough for Premier League. You dont have my respects for that. Blaming Ole for not working magic with a team not good enough to be in the PL and keeping them up in a League that Vincent Tan helped you to get to. It's a bananas view. Why not just accept going down, maybe cheer a bit since Tan has failed helping your club and being hopefull for the future, wishing him gone? You will end up that way either way, just start in the moment..

All these subjects getting thrown around are seperate topics, why you cant see that? Because you have strong emotions for your club. But in times like this. Relax a little, try to focus on other things than to blame people, and search truth for your self. You might find peace in yourself if all these subjects have its own place in you where its all becoming more clear what you belive in and what upsets you, what you wish for your club, and at what costs. To support but at the same time not support is a bit like go fishing but when sitting in the boat you only complain about stuff like no fish in the water, this fishing pole doesnt quite cut it, the worms and maggots are stupid.. things that distract you from whats really going on, and that is to support your club so they get the results you want.

I suggest to get behind the manager for the new season, even if he doesnt produce a miracle now and you have to play in Championship next season. Why not? A young manager with loads of potential. He got charisma, player understanding, people skill, intelligence, players like him even and know he is the boss, which mean they will work their soccs off for him. He is a manager who want a team to play football, and he is a winner. If that is not something that you belive, then be it. It's your decision. But i suggest this man is your clubs biggest hope to success ever. With him and some financial backing, he will make a team that will be capeable of more than what he has had to work with so far. As for Malky, he might have been a good solution for you even in the long term, but i can understand if people want more attacking football so they get entertained and still having a shot for a Premier League spot. I belive Ole is that man, and you all should get off the "blame-wave" that is going around and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

Maybe next year will be a good year for Cardiff City? Who knows huh? All you can do is hope for the best and support your team.
Ole is not scared of a challange. Why do you think he became Cardiff manager? Just to add if you all forgot. Solskjaer wants the club to return to blue. Probably will get it through too if he stays after this season, would you hate him then?

I have given this site a miss for some time given the agenda pushing and other matters but having read your post I thought I would pop back in and say how much I agree with what you have said.
I have watched every game we have played so far this season and to me Ole has been a breath of fresh air. As I see it, his tactics have been very good but unfortunately the unbalanced squad and obvious lack of quality in some areas has made it an uphill -and probably fruitless -battle.
All depends on what Mr Tan decides to do but with backing I would be very happy to have Ole in charge next season.

I appreciate that C. Rombie Coat, yes his tactics and style of play has been good and looks promising for the future, if mr.Tan desides to let him continue.

I want to add that he ofcourse have made mistakes, like any other manager does from time to time, but in the big picture I think it looks promising and that he has done ok in his first few months.

TopCat, i dont know why you posted a news article. But i read it, and it was pretty obvious that Ole was angry at some of the players after that display, but i think the article was not a very good one. I suggest the players he was most angry at was Medel and Mutch, but thats about as much guessing as the info the article provided me with.

No problem BR.
Much had a terrible game yesterday and that is such a shame when we depend upon him so much.
Medel. Not sure. His passing was very iffy at times and put us under pressure. Should he have been driving forward more?
