A forum for all things Cardiff City

Can't believe all the posts on her still defending ole while sticking the knife into Malky at the same time , wake up the stats don't lie the guy is out of his depth and very naive , he won't have a clue how to get out of the championship , time for some of you to finally swallow your pride and admit we should never have got rid of Malky , the football wasn't pretty I'll admit but this year was all about survival

A £50m budget means more than just survival.

Ole is the current manager of Cardiff City I support him for all of this and next season.
Malky was a great manager in our history, I supported him every day he was our manager.
Malky was finding it difficult, the performance against Villa, Norwich, Palace , Southampton were abject as abject as our performances under Ole.
You act as if the criticism on this little unrepresentative forum had any bearing of Tans decision.
Sun Apr 06, 2014 7:20 pm
dont understand the malky love in either! dont talk stats ffs second worst defence under malky behind fulham, he wasted millions on players not good enough for 1st team selection! whats so good about that??
Sun Apr 06, 2014 7:22 pm
The reason I wanted Malky to go was partly due to the shite football, relegation doesn't bother me but the same football match Ten behind the ball was tiresome and he could have battered the Championship last season and as proud of that season as I am some of the football was dire.
But the main reason was the breakdown with Tan, in an ideal world Malky would have been given the season regardless as he had earned it. But that relationship is key to a football club and it had gone.
I'm more than willing to give Ole time because at its best the football has been pretty good. But I don't think any of us ever thought he'd be so green as a manager.
He desperately wanted Jones and Zaha and both have been shite. But Steve Bruce has been relegated several times and is now a well established manager and if it is a learning curve then I'm willing to stick with him.

The main culprit is an ex Man United fan. Surprise.

please stop and think..........he backed our manager to get promoted..then armed him with 50million......a championship winning team with 50 million spent really shouldnt be as poor as we are... Malky got one very good win........fulham and west brom are poor and will both be bottom 6..and the derby game ,,well it was a derby game...nearly a hundred years of history shows how random they are.....he might have kept us up..but you cannot say for certain........one things for sure,if id invested the most ever on a newly promoted side..id have expected more......

Ole is our manager who came into a Cardiff team which most other managers wouldn't have touched with a barge pole
Yes he isn't good enough at the moment - but he's better than any other manager we could have brought in under the circumstances and as fans we should stick by him
It's Tan and his administration who are to blame for this mess
Sun Apr 06, 2014 10:32 pm
i love ole, lets be fair our style of football under him is more exciting than under malky, and yes our results may be much worse than malkys, and we might look like an embaressment more under ole than malky, but think of this under ole, each time we lose, we conceed a shit load of goals, so you cant say you dont see a goad scoreline finish to a game......
ole is a f*king joke.
i loved malky, HOWEVER i can understand why he was sacked, but when you're fighting survival in the premier league, you go for a tony pulis, mark hughes, "been there, full of fight" boss..... not a "he played for united so he must be a amazing manager" ole

I agree about the Tan thing, but if OGS isn't good enough, sack him! I don't believe this for one moment, especially as he has been selected by a world business leader who, despite statements to the contrary, is NO MUG!!!!!
I want it back to blue. Let's try to find a solution, not a problem.

It's called supporting' your current manager, we are not all 'fickle' ... MAlky was a good manager, not a great one, if he had spent more wisely in summer we might not of been in this mess, ole has made mistakes, but I will support him whilst he is our manager.

Spot on mate, I'm not sure if Ole is the right man but whilst he is here I will support him.

This I also agree with, Malky should never have had the sack. Ridiculous decision, we were on track regardless how pretty the football was. Whilst Ole is in charge though, he needs our full backing.

I've heard the players have absolutely no interest in playing for Solksjaer.

Talked to a guy at a garage that is friends with one of our summer signings.
Not particularly bothered if you don't believe me, the performances on the field prove it.
