Southampton, Newcastle & Sunderland Away.

Sun Apr 06, 2014 3:16 pm

Does anyone else think that we might get some points out these games? We have a very good away following and the atmosphere away from home has been brilliant, much better than the CCS, fans passionately getting behind the team for the full 90 mins.
Against Everton the players showed fighting spirit and at WBA we had the strength to get a last min equaliser. For me Ole needs to stick with a stable team and not make so many changes to the starting 11.

All is not lost, let's get behind the team and enjoy the remaining games and if we are playing Championship football next season I will be there shouting from the stands!! :ayatollah:

BTW - I think we'll get 4 points from the above matches. We are the 12th man!! :bluescarf:

tell me why we should get anything from these games, but play so piss poorly on our own turf....to answer your questions, nothing from these games and its to late to worry about a stable 11..... :ayatollah:

Because anything can happen in football, it's a funny old game and we may, yes may get a bit of Lady Luck as well as a penalty, you only have to look at the Man City result to see that shock results can happen. :)

If you think that our away following has any bearing on the performance of our team I think you are sadly mistaken.

The fact is that despite taking excellent numbers to almost all of our away games this season and giving excellent support to the team we have only won one away game and the odd point against some of the weaker teams in the division.

If there were three of us in the away end saying nothing or 3000 singing and cheering all game, there would be little or no difference to the teams performance I'm afraid.

You do know we've won one away match this season?
