apparently 12000 season tickets sold

so one big empty stadium....good job we got 5000 more seats going in...

We'll average about 20000 next season in my opinion. Not exactly empty! And the new stand will be welcome to those with seats at the front where you get wet when it rains as it will allow people to move back, happy days!

The real fans will get to move seats. All those who moan about the family stand will be able to buy tickets and secure lifelong seats. We need this

My guess was 17000-18000 which is a guess I made prior to this season starting. I stand by that.

Average of 18,500 with away fans.

I think it will drop by 1,000 again should you fail to go up and with the price freeze ending. Which leaves the stadium pretty much half empty.

I don't think the plastics come on here.......

16000 would be a good number. Less plastics and not too empty that an atmosphere can't be created

plastics, price increase and real fans fed up of the shit tan has put us through. Many not renewing for what has been miserable season because of that man and until he stays many will not renew. SHAME

A lot of truth in that.

It makes no difference. In fact the less season tickets sold the better. For week the seats in my row are left empty but when I try to buy tickets for them for my friends, they are already sold to season ticket holders, but yet when Saturday comes they are empty. The only time I've seen people in them is for Man City, man utd, Liverpool. Strange that!

Sold out Saturday, people crying out for tickets but what was the attendance? 28000? No chance!

Good. Least the moronic fans can f**k off, at least the fans who are there next season will want to be there and won't heckle the team over the smallest things

There were well over 2,000 empty seats in the stadium yesterday, for a very important game.

Genuine question, how do you know this is fact ? The deadline is this tuesday to get a season ticket. I will be renewing but I'm looking to leave it as possible due to funds, so if 18000 have already then maybe they wont extend the deadline.

have a look on e ticketing and count........its well more than 12,000

Just had a quick look now, I'd say there is probably more than 12,000 but not 18,000. Surely the deadline on the 8th will be extended won't it ? Couple of seasons ago you could get one a week before the season started in the Championship.

I know someone in the ticket office and have it on good authority it was less than 10000 before they gave the 1st extension (because of high demand the club said) then at the last count it was less than 12000

Let's be honest it's all guess work none of us know how many season tickets we have sold, doesn't matter who knows who working in the ticket office the truth is none of us know. When the club comes out and tells us only then we will know how many have been sold

do you not think that the fact that no official statement has been made then sales are very slow.. :ayatollah:

This club does nothing right. We'll easily have 20,000 there every week though.

Julian Jenkins confirmed in the middle of March in a meeting with the Trust that approx 13,000 had been sold.

Good point Annis!
If we can't fill the existing stadium for a crucial 6 pointer in the PL, what will happen if we are relegated and have an extended venue?

Also, the seats emptied way before the final whistle. Too many fair weather fans for me. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
