Is that part of the pitch inspection, Vincent? Cardiff chief Tan splashes pitch before clash

Vincent Tan was taking a stroll on the pitch ahead of Cardiff City's crunch clash with Crystal Palace before giving the turf a bit of a last-minute watering.

The Malaysian businessman, who owns Cardiff, was pictured with chairman Mehmet Dalman and CEO Simon Lim on the turf before the relegation showdown, sipping from a Real Madrid-branded cup.
But at some point, Tan then decides he doesn't want any more of the drink, and chucks it on the pitch at the Cardiff City Stadium as he's walking.

Tan is no stranger to controversy, and earlier this season invoked the ire of many Cardiff fans when he axed Malky Mackay from his post as manager before replacing him with current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Tan was also capture on film appearing to be booing at the full time whistle following the last-gasp draw with fellow strugglers Sunderland in December.
The entrepreneur was on the turf ahead of a crucial clash for his side. The Premier League strugglers face fellow relegation candidates Palace at home.

This is getting stupid now I'd rather see see someone with a foreign teams mug than shout abuse at our own team and fans by our own fans

We change to "lucky red" to improve our chances of success and he walks round with a Real Madrid mug..

It's also incredibly bad taste for the owner of any club to be walking around the stadium using another clubs merchandise

To a game? If you're a Cardiff Fan and you wear another teams shirt to a game your either an idiot or not a Cardiff fan in my opinion

Far be it from me to accuse someone of not being a Cardiff fan - but what other reason would you have to wear a football teams jersey if you aren't a fan of that team
