I agree. I don't even want him in the championship if we get relegated. If he is a Hobbit he is certainly not SamWISE Gamgee! after yesterdays setup.
He couldn't even cut the grass on top of his Hobbit house let alone cut it on the grass coaching Cardiff City Players.
How can such a talented super sub be so awful tactically as a coach?
I wish someone would awake me from this nightmare and I wake up finding Malky is still manager and we are pretty safe in 15th challenging the jack bastards for a place.

its very difficult to keep faith, team selection is baffling ,players who have had 2 poor games on spin disappear not even on bench, then suddenly when you think youve seen the last of them ,and he whittling it down to who he sees as his better players, they re surface in the 1st team......the amount of times he has subbed a full back? who else ever have you seen do this? yesterday Cowie for Jones?..last week Whitts comes on for Medel, wasnt for long, didnt do anything ridiculous, yesterday he doesnt make the bench?..his january signings overall havent been of any great use........i really wanted Ole to work out...
its getting more and more difficult to buy into though............im not a jack..and if you have positives, im more than ready to listen cause a manager every 6 months aint the way id like to be going...

The positives- We are in the championship 10 years ago that was a great achievement- no one has the right.
Playing championship football does not work in the premier league, if you do you must be dedicated and a slave to it. The fans must understand it ain't pretty.
To succeed in the prem you must be well drilled in passing possession football, you need the players and you can't do that during the season. We have had half a season working out who can and who can't, we are half a season in front of where Malky was when he started.
The fans have united as best we can, we have always been fractious. Its up to Tan now.....

Always going to be tough coming from managing in a Mickey Mouse league to managing a premier league team in chaos with a barking mad chairman. I am afraid it looks like you are relegated but you need to bounce back straight away with the parachute payments . I would hate to see your club plunge like mine has . Good luck, PLAY UP POMPEY :ayatollah:

no i meant continued faith with Ole.......i knew full well the side we had last year wasnt even a good championship side.......it was just a group of players with great attitude brought in to play a certain way.......i hoped Malky had a secret compartment in his locker , would fetch in half a dozen descent experienced players and change how we play..he hasnt and didnt......but my concern is the future......Ole seems to miss the fundamentals..of earning the right to play....not just the 90 mins..but in selection.....players who do ok get dropped for players that were poor 2 weeks b4 and were dropped themselves.......next saturdays team..could well include..turner,cala,katherine,john,mcnaughton,fabio,taylor,bellamy,zaha,daeli.noone,cowie,gunnerson,mutch,whits,eikrem,jones,campbell, to play with marsh, caulker and medel.........8 from 18........thats ridiculous..his starting options should by now be narrowed down to about 12

I read in one of Fergies many biographies that he used to tell the players which games he had them penciled well in advance to stop the bickering and confusion.
We have a big squad of average championship players IMO Ole is doing the same with them and only a few untouchables. The players probably know, us and the opposition don't. He believes in rotation and rest periods.

We will need to cut a lot of players next season, I guess he is finding out who he wants and doesn't. Cowie signing an extension was a surprise but must fit his model.
I reckon Gunnar is a gonner, Whitts will be interesting as he is undoubtedly been one of the best championship players of the last three seasons.

yep..i see what he is doing.........but he isnt fergie, and its not man utd with a squad full of top players.......Man Utd under Fergie evolved into this squad rotation...after he had built a winning team and added strength in depth......we have little strength let alone in depth..which makes picking the better ones and deciding who the better ones are far more important...in fact not just individuals... the best team is not always the best 11 players..its the best combination..Malky for his many limitations did know this......its difficult to see this in OGS......
Fergies 1st championship season............8 players played 40 or more prem games out of a possible 42.

Spot on!

I sometimes wonder myself. It's almost like parliament. People disagreeing for the sake of it.

My season ticket has been sorted for next year (10th season in a row, although I've been a fan a lot longer than that) so come what may, I know where my loyalties are, and will stay.
