He did a fantastic job for us and will go down in the clubs history as being a successful manager but sometimes when relationships break down between the boss and employees there is only ever one outcome . Malky made a lot of expensive mistakes in the transfer market and his record on the pitch was nosediving towards the end . He was judged on that and was replaced , the right decision for everybody involved in the end including malky .

That said I would have liked for him to have been given the full season but it would never had worked if your honest .

I gave malky time since he came here Annis and told you myself he deserved till the end of the season regardless if we stayed up or not. Malkys now gone so i'll treat Ole the same and give him time to have a pre season and transfer window to get it right..

Agree jinks. Malky spent a fortune and more or less added two players to a championship team. Look what Steve Bruce did. We are Championship next season...I'd ne happy to see what OGS does for a season. OGS took over a sinking ship. MM fucked it all

Have to agree with you Jinks,a full pre season and his own signings then lets see.today I thought the starting eleven was weird,poor cambell I thought? And Jones was dead wood from kick off!I felt sorry for marshall too,he has been immense both last season and this,deserved better from those players around him.I know other people have posted about Zaha,but his lack of effort today was so evident,he is sooo un-proffesional I hope he fecks off now.he does'nt deserve to step on the pitch again for us! Ledley was the example of playing for your current paymaster,putting aside how you feel,for the benefit of your current team.although he looked a bit gutted when he tapped in!! Malkys dealings were very poor and have left us with a team devoid of a goal getting striker,and a poor defence.Ole did what he could in jan,with a small budget,compared to malkys.I cant help thinking he had bought with the championship in the back of his mind?what will tan do? Its going to be interesting whether Ole wants to stay on and whether Tan wants him to as well.

Personally I believe every manager should be given time, bloody DJ was given 6 years.

Whether Ole is good enough remains to be seen.

DJ and Malky were given the brief - Keep us in the championship and grow. Both had 100% support from a smaller but loyal united fan base.

Ole started mid season in the top league with a team obviously too short on quality to make it with a split and disillusioned fan base. But how dare we forget the lunatic who controls the club and as play thing, who is very hands on and interfering.

Not sure if Ole is the right fit for us, only time will tell. But, jettisoning managers every 10 mins is not the answer.

I'd like to see Ole here next season. I think he needs to find a system that works for us and stick to it, obviously against certain teams and games we'll have to adjust, that's the nature of today's football but so far we have chopped and changed far too much. We have no clear philosophy yet under Ole but with a full pre-season and with enough time to make the changes he needs to suit the way we're looking to play I think he can be the man to take us forward.

I don't mind going down for a few seasons breeding a real style of football that we truly believe and hopefully having another crack at the Premier League with a clear vision of how we want to go about it. I highly doubt the clown in charge will allow that to happen but that's what I would like to happen, look at Southampton, dare I say it the jacks, they know the way they want to play and it's kept them in the Premier League, in Southampton's case they've pushed on even further.

Malky wasn't given time, he was performing at the level we needed and his time was cut short. Malky had a vision and it was all about building blocks, he also brought a togetherness that to be honest has been completely wiped away since he has gone. It's all about opinions I suppose but my one is that he would've kept us in the league, 3-0 and 4-0 defeats at home against fellow promoted teams would not have happened. Yes he wasted valuable money but he was learning, the spine of our team was the most important area to strengthen and in Gary and Caulker he did that.

God knows what's coming next but all I want is Cardiff City playing in blue and back united as one.
