Came from Joe's mouth 7 million well if a player isn't going to sign and hasn't agree to sign and someone offers 7 million be pretty stupid not to take it

Ye he scores a goal to make it 2 nil and we clap him what on earth is that about. Some of the fans are as soft as the players are.

Didnt clap him but what exactly has he done to CCFC to annoy anyone?? If your employers wouldnt give you a decent pay rise and another firm offered you a fortune to do the same job wouldnt you leave? This isnt toytown....its real life.
There is no loyalty in football.

Didn't see any clapping around me.

Why do people bang on about this running his contract down bullshit? He weren't offered a new contract and DJ had rejected bids for him in the past

I didnt clap him. I dont owe him anything. What I'm saying is he's a Cardiff lad who played for his local side, took them to Wembley, scored some important goals and did well for us for most of his CCFC career. We could have sold him for millions a year before he left for nothing but we didnt. We wouldnt sell him. Thats wasn't his choice. He wanted a higher grade of football and whether he made the right choice, he played in the Champions League in front of 90000 fans and played against some of the finest players in the world.
Some people on here need to get a grip. Its f*cking poisonous.

I can understand some people wanting to clap him before the game but after a goal that helps send us down? Madness.

I bet you still question his quality. Which is laughable.

I think he could do a job at left back for us tbh but that says more about malky and Ole not spending the money they had to spend properly.

He looked f*cking heartbroken to send us down.

When Dennis Law scored for Man City against his former club Man Utd he was heartbroken. Lesley couldn't give a rip. The difference between him and Ramsey is that we got a tidy sum from Arsenal for a brilliant young player who loved CCFC. We got that sum because we had brought Ramsey through the ranks into a first rate Championship player. Ledley was in a similar situation but claimed he wanted to move on to further his career with a better team. Despite rumours of Interest from Premiership teams, and despite rumours of an improved contract, he allowed his contract to run down so that he would be a free agent and get a better deal for himself. So far he is still OK. The problem came when he decided to sign for Celtic which is a team that plays in a "foreign" league who would not have to pay CCFC a single penny for the youth development we gave him. This was at a time when we badly needed every single £ and were in danger of going bust. If he loved City as some people claim he would not have behaved in such a manner. Incidentally he has done the same to Celtic.
