Ole's Team Selections

Strange is not the word. We have improved over recent weeks with better performances and a lot more goals so why go and chop and change with the team selection and formation again?

It seems that every game Ole changes his team hence there is no consistency. Whitts was in the squad and came on last week, this week not even on the bench. The same for Fabio unless he was injured. All of a sudden Cowie was put into the squad and I was surprised to see Cala sitting on the bench. Eikrem is another who has fallen out of the squad after a string of games. I would have liked to have seen Noone starting instead of Zaha but I suppose he cannot be 100% fit. Lets start with Noone and Bellamy and you can always make changes later on. Why start with Jones alongside Campbell today? Personally I would have liked Bellamy starting just behind Campbell. He is a leader and has the experience for a relegation fight.

We started the game as if we were the away team, instead of coming out of the blocks and taking the game to Palace we sat back and we looked like a team of startled rabbits. We had one attempt on target in the first half and on 2 occasions Jones was in on goal, not a Palace player in front of him 20 yards out and he tries a side pass instead of shooting! Really disappointing performance after recent games.
