It was inevitable they'd get promoted eventually.

Yes - we had a fantastic manager in Malky and Nigel Pearson is also a brilliant manager
You can throw as much money as you like at a team but it doesn't guarantee anything - it takes a good manager to mastermind it

You do have a point there. No money spent and could surpass our point tally but I doubt it due to Ings and Vokes being out

To be fair they have had their parachute money from when they were in the Prem. They are hardly paupers.

secondly the one who said "so why didnt malky get watford up" at the time watford couldnt afford their own players never mind anyone else, he was forced to use youth and cheap buys from lower league after selling off key players at the club. he got them kids, playing some good football and if i remember correctly, missed out on the players not by that much, he showed he could do a job.
under malky we had fight and yes people will throw the "2nd worse defence" blah blah blah stuff around, but under pulis, palace play the shut up shop and try and nick a goal , same as malky, and their safe right now. us we tried to play this "attack" football and we've been embaressed by clubs much worse than ours on paper.

Exactly. I think it just goes to show what a weak championship it was last season, and that Pearson and dyche are far better managers than malky.

If we get promoted next season then I think we'll be ready, next season it will have a league of highly contested teams. This Championship has been class and has class teams. You look at Palace who got promoted despite losing a shit load of games under Holloway. Us and Palace made the best of a bad Championship, Hull the same
