I said it before and after today Il say it AGAIN

Under malky we were disciplined and organised and we were producing the best display we could possibly give.

the problem is we aren't good enough to finish 10th.
mackay did a fantastic job.

the only reason we were such a defensive unit was because malky is a good enough manager to forsee what would happen to cardiff if we attacked.

this is what happened to cardiff if they attack = we finish likely bottom and conceed more goals than anyone

I don't agree at all that we were better defensively under malky, as we had the 2nd worst defensive record in the league. I cant see why people like you just cannot admit malky was shit, Ole has turned out to be shit, the players have been shit, and tan stinks of shit.

With a budget more than derby, notts forest and Leicester put together last season, tans money got us promoted open your eyes fool.

No but it helps massively. You think malky would of got us promoted without that budget, no. His time at Watford is a prime example of that.

He's not a shit manager and will go on to be successful elsewhere, and I'm no-ones fool.

Ole won many titles with molde, but people continue to call him shit. I agree malky is not shit but he is a championship manager at best, he is no where near prem quality.

You stated that Tans money got us promoted and that's not strictly true is it?
You still need a manager to implement it all and motivate the team, something Ole is totally incapable of !

Iv always said malky is a gd championship managet

100% agree on this :ayatollah:

We would have had a far greater chance of staying up under Malky than we have with Ole.
We were sitting in a decent enough position until Tan interfered and the shit hit the fan!
We had 17 points from 17 games and this season should have been all about staying up and not about attractive football that some craved !
Thought we were some big time Charlie's, with some on here saying they wouldn't want Pulis as manager due to his style of football and wouldn't want Ledley back as not good enough!! Who the f.ck do we think we are?!

In terms of Ledley and Pulis , I think they answered a few critics today !

Malky did not play entertaining football , he played football that suited the players ability that he had at his disposal and one thing you cannot argue with is the work rate every player put in under him!

malky got us up from the champ but nowhere near good enough to keep us in prem, nobody who hates tan with a passion will agree because in their eyes that's what made malky do a bad job towards end of his time here, no coincidence that Watford did a better job when he left and sean dyche took over and hes doing miracles at burnley, if sean dyche took over us instead malky we would be hailing sean dyche!, truth of the matter is our team is woefull under malky and under ole, we need massive investment next season whatever league we are in

Yes a team adapting to life in the best league in the world and he obtained 17 points from 17 games.
What, did you expect us to be pushing for a place in Europe !?!

As I said earlier we still managed to get 17 points regardless of who was our best player , with what was arguably an easier second half to our season to come !

Arsenal, man Utd, man city away. Very arguable it was easier

But having spent so much in the last 2 years under Malky we should have been able to at least have a striker capable of scoring. We were sinking under Malky and quick. Malky in my opinion quickly showed he was totally out of his depth. Ole is now doing the same sadly.
Tan should have replaced Malky quicker and with less fuss and brought in someone with experience until the end of the season.

We rode our luck early season....We played man city at a perfect time.

The squad was not good enough, Malky was into his 3rd full season as a manager in the toughest league in the world. Look at the mess Tim Sherwood is making at Spurs. You need experience. Pulis turned around a worse squad than ours though......

Funnily enough the "Don't sack Mackay" chants probably stopped Pulis coming here as he didn't want the post Malky aggro..He will have remembered Toshacks first stint after the Yorath backlash.....
