Marshall
Fabio caulker cala john
Noone medel mutch zaha
Bellamy cambell
Subs lewis dealhi jones turner whitts eikram berget
Bellas and cambell defending like mad men fromthe front
Noone and zaha given the ball as quick and as much as possible
Fabio and john pushinup when we going forward
Meddle holding and mutch free to get forward
When we tire dealhi for bellas or zaha
Jones for cambell if when we are in front last 20mins
And if neededwhitts for meddle
Come on this team and tactics can beat palace today and then its off to southampton with a different outlook and plan :ole:

I absolutely agree. Especially against a lower team like Palace. Fair enough if we playing a big team like Liverpool or man city etc. We need to change formation to adapt to the big team. ,
But this week we are playing home, we are playing a lower team and if anything Palace will have to adapt to our tactics (not the other way around)
a 442 and we will control the game from start to finish. I set us up as 442 on my football manager simulation and a 442 brought me a score of 4-2 win

4-4-2 for me also.

Id stick with Big Ben at back though, and have Declan and Kev.

Then Zaha and noone on flanks

my reasoning for cala instead of turner
we will have to be patient and cala has more time on the ball and is a much better passer theres not much between them defencivly
also Fabio and john give us extra pace which is needed against teams who play on the break away :ole:

not sure about that
he would be better when coming on later against a tired midfield and defence
for me cambell and bellamy defending high up early on should give us the best opportunity of going in front :ole: ;)

For me...

Fabio ---- Turner ---- Caulker ---- John
-------Cala--------------------Medel------
------------Dæhli--------Mutch-----------
-------------Bellamy or Berget-----------
-----------------Jones---------------------

A very centre-heavy 4-4-2 / 4-2-4 hybrid. Palace's sides are very good so play should be forced through the middle. Thus Jones, who can be the target of long balls from Cala and Caulker, knock them down to either of the three completely offensive-minded midfielders. Fabio, John, Medel and Cala all with super defensive mentalities.
