Any one been to Madrid to see them play?

Going to watch R Madrid play next saturday,and A Madrid on sunday anyone been and if so any tips?

Ive done a tour of the stadium but not been to a game, enjoyed the tour, worth doing although I doubt they do them on a match day.

Did go to a Barca game in Feb (Barca v Valencia) and that was a pretty unique experience so im sure Real wont be to different. Enjoy and you can even have a pint in the stands

Yeh went to watch them vs elche in feb when bale scored a screamer from 30 yards. 6 of us wen for 5 nights hostal San Lorenzo near gran via.

What sort of tips you looking for?

For travel use the metro it is cheap and really good and easy to use and takes you straight outside the bernabeu or atletico stadium. The bernabeu tour is well worth a look.

Dont plan on taking a taxi to the ground, they wont go anywhere near the stadium, use the metro, I went for Beckhams last game with madrid when they won the title, it was amazing, even though its a big stadium it has a better atmosphere than most in this country, Ive done Barca but I would say Madrid was the best far. Have a good trip.

I went to real Madrid vs barca last season. I was in the away end and I still thought it was shit. I've also done the nou camp and to be honest I don't think I'd ever go to a Spanish game again!

I'd say that Spain is the only country that is worse than England for it's lack of passion these days.

They don't even bother with away games. Barca didn't even fill the away end in the classico!!!

Well we were outside the bernabeu with the elche fans and they were brilliant! Even in the stadium they were great when they were getting pounded all game. The madrid fans were boring other than a group of fans behind one goal who didn't stop all game.
