If we go down - Who will be left

Tue Apr 01, 2014 12:23 pm

If the unthinkable happens how may of our players have clauses in their contracts thats if we get relegated they can leave - how may do you think. - you will be surprised to learn there is a hell of a lot

Marshall
Medal
Caulker
Campbell
Cala
Jones
Fabio
Catherine

mutch has 1 year left on his deal
gunnarson deal up in the summer
Hudson deal up in the summer

how much is it going to cost us to rebuild

Campbell
Cala
Jones
Fabio
Catherine

Re: If we go down - Who will be left

Dont think many prem clubs will come in for our players to be honest apart from maybe medal mutch caulker and marshall and i dont think marshall will leave

Re: If we go down - Who will be left

I think we need a bit of a clear out anyway, we dont want players like Caulker and Medel on huges wages in the championship.

Re: If we go down - Who will be left

Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:04 pm

Always hard to lose the entire spine of the team Marshall/Caulks/Medel

Will need a well thought out rebuilding job

Re: If we go down - Who will be left

Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:08 pm

Who says we will lose them, their wages will be cut from being relegated

Re: If we go down - Who will be left

Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:15 pm

Well I'm still believing that we are going to stay up!!!! So they all stay, we'll the ones Ole wants to keep that is...... :bluescarf:

Sell Caulker, Medel, Mutch and Marshall.

At least then we will be a lot better off financially.

Medel hasnt done enough to justify his price tag and wages, I will be very surprised we get our money back on him.

Mutch I imagibne someone will take a punt.

Marshall, will he want to play 2nd fiddle somewhere? Not sure.

Caulker, again, hasnt justified his price tag or wages so I think we will have to take a loss.

i think with medel and caulker maybe the teams going into the division may take risks on them but i think to be honest we wont lose many players... i think marshall loves it here and hopefully stays

i think Medel will go back to spain.

Caulker and Mutch both being young and English will raise their prices, cant imagine we would lose much, if any on Caulker.

id say 25m for the lot would be ok. Losing all wages too... add to that Bellamys wage and we should be fine.

Perhaps Moody can do the honourable thing and sign them for Palace should they stay up

I think newly promoted clubs / clubs who just survive may take a punt on Noone as well, who, when given a chance, has done well in this division.

Hopefully the (unjustified IMO) hype on Declan John might mean we can get a few bob for him as well.

As someone who works in a solicitors office, i presume that someones very very close friend will be reported for breach of confidentiality and should lose their job

Every chance if, as we are lead to believe, the Club routinely read this board. All because people want to show they are ITK

Surely keep Gunnar as a squad player in the Championship?.

He puts 10 times as much effort in as Kenwyne Jones.

There is no way Caulker will go to the Championship, he is good enough for a top 4 team.

No way is Caulker good enough for top 4 team at the moment, maybe in a few years

Looking through the squad..

Marshall - Go, to Celtic would be my guess if they lose Forster.
Connolly - Probably stay
Taylor - Stay
Caulker - Will go for a decent price
Hudson - I can see him leaving
Turner - Stay
Whitts - Stay
Medel - I can actually see him staying
Kenwyne Jones - f**k knows
Campbell - I can't see there being much interest in him
Kimbo - Will go
Smith - Deadwood
Eikrem - I really hope he fucks off but with Ole in charge no chance
Craig Noone - Someone may take a punt on him - 50/50
Gunnarsson - Stay
Mutch - Will most certainly go for a big price
Cowie - Deadwood
Lappin - Will go
Super Kev - Stay
Cala - ??
KTC - Will be release because no one will be interested and he's shite
Matts - Will stay if Ole does
Berget - Ole will make him stay
Fabio - Will surely go
John - Stay
Bellamy - Will join Earnie and go to the MLS or A league

Ole wants to play possession football, i can't see Gunnar fitting into that.
