What is this about? I don`t get it! Cardiff city haven`t been marketed i Malaysia yet, according to the plan making us sustainable premier side first? Asking people in China last year, they hadn't even heard of Europe, so i don`t think a 5 minute walk in Malaysia will find you Cardiff neither  Btw, is the show that was going to dig into Tan and find some dirt?

Malaysia isn't in China you thick , so no idea what the f**k that's got to do with anything.
And anyway he said the rebrand was to make us successful in the emerging markets and to bring in further revenue.
He also said we'd be blue the next season.
He lied on both accounts and his supporters like you can f**k off from my club with him.

very random,be a good idea if they asked in and around an all weather pitch,or in a sports bar or leisure center..
cant wait for the second instalment ..

they needed to send someone out there with a bit more bite, an agenda even..........Annis and Nukes maybe..im sure they would have found more than one solitary blue shirt, plus links to the mafia, triads, and how Tans original surname was Oswald but he changed it and moved from Dallas in the 60s

Yes my friend, know that :laughing6: and not sure that was the point. And im pretty sure i would market something when its marketable, but im not sure postponing is lying. Was this the show that was digging dirt?

No that show was S4C, this was ITV, although it did look like it was probably done by the same people.
In the far east a marketable club is a successful club that wins trophies, not a club that's rebranded to being red. Hence why a lot of us ridiculed his reasoning. It turns out we were right and he changed the colour because of his personal taste and nothing else

No shirts from this season they said. And since we were told that the rebrand was to market us over there, it's seems like an even bigger flop if they don't even sell our shirts over there.

So the logical thing would be to make success first, then rebrand and market? Not rebrand, success and market?

No because the heritage and identity of the product, both of which is important in football marketing have been destroyed.

I wouldn't worry about ITV. They have seen an easy target and they have gone for it. If they had anything on Tan it would've been in the papers by now.

Re: Part 1 & Part 2 ITV ' Vincent Tan,Malaysia and Corrupti

Tue Apr 01, 2014 9:44 pm

They never said no red shirts were being sold in Malaysia .
They said no red shirts were currently available . That is either down to them never being sold in the first place or they have sold out of the shipment they had in the first place .for some reason S4C didn't ask why or they did ask and didn't like the answer they were given so cut the clip from the final edit .
Awful reporting by whoever he was .
