Anybody watch the welsh news tonight,they sent a reporter over to Malaysia to look at all these(supposed to be)red city shirts.After visiting 14 sports stores(none of them had any city shirts)the reporter finally got lucky when the shopkeeper told him he had 1 shirt on the shelf-and believe it or not it was "BLUE".He then went around asking everyone shopping if they had heard of Cardiff City,only one said yes!!!!!
This rebrand has f**k all to do with making money,it's just promoting tan's culture!

That matches up with my experience of living in Kuala Lumpur for 6 months at the start of last year. I'd ask everyone their thoughts on Cardiff City but they wouldn't have a clue. They were more than happy to change the subject and talk about Swansea though! C**ts! We were still in the Championship at that time though, so hopefully this season has given us more exposure out there.

I was watching the news earlier & some reporter was in Malaysia and they were asking the public whether they knew of Cardiff & most of them answered 'No I don't care' and they were in Vincent Tans shopping centre that he owns and they only found one shop that sold Cardiff tops and the colour of those were blue, so much for making us a bigger club in Malaysia haha!

Well after not getting much response out of mentioning Cardiff, I said that we were a team from Wales playing in the league below the Premiership, and they'd then make the Wales/Swansea connection and go off talking about them!

we've had this before swans fans saying they are famous and known the world over! while no ones ever heared of Cardiff as a place even !!

I'm sure the word is being spread. We have more to worry about than, a) colour of our shirt and b) how many malaysian shoppers are aware of us. Just saying like.
