Going down the right way?

Mon Mar 31, 2014 2:32 pm

We needed a win Saturday, but the fashion in which we drew showed we're going the right way: http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/03/31/cardiff-going-down-the-right-way/

trouble is we wouldnt have stayed up with him in charge! plain facts are if dont score enough goals you get relegated and ffs couldnt hit barn dooor under malky at end of his reign, hence we had second worst goal difference behind fulham! :old:

Maybe selfish but I'd rather go go down trying to play football than the way we were playing. Defending and hoping for a set piece is not my idea of football.

Beating Man City and Drawing with Utd is my idea of football, anybody who still thinks you can neglect defence and score your way out of a relegation dogfight in the style of Newcastle untited must have an axe to grind against Malky. It's not working.

It's nothing to do with neglecting the defence and you know that but trying to be clever to make a point.
As the season went on we went to places like villa, Palace, Stoke etc not even trying to win. Defend by all mean but at least try to counterattack, we only wanted to score from set plays, it was sad.
