Manchester United are set to sell Wilfried Zaha in the summer as the Premier League champions look to cut their losses on the £10million they paid for the former Crystal Palace winger in January 2013.
Zaha was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson last season, but has failed to make an impression under new boss David Moyes and earned just two starts for the club before being loaned out to Cardiff City.
Under-fire Moyes is set for a summer spending spree in an attempt to bolster his squad and is reportedly happy for the 21-year-old to further his career elsewhere.

We can get much better than Zaha for less money.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Manchester United are set to cut their losses on out of favour Wilfired Zaha, as boss David Moyes looks to embark on a major summer spending spree, leaving the winger out in the cold.
Having officially signed for United last January, Zaha was immediately loaned back to Crystal Palace, helping them gain promotion via the play-offs in May, but after joining up with his new teammates in pre-season, it became clear that David Moyes wasn’t overly enamoured with what the midfielder had to offer his new club.
After making just two appearances for the Reds, Zaha was allowed to leave United on loan, joining up with Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer at Cardiff City, where it was thought he may rediscover some of the form which saw Sir Alex Ferguson lay out such a big sum of money for him at the beginning of 2013, but after an initial burst of exuberance, the winger has seen his starting role disappear.
Should Moyes decide that Zaha will be allowed to leave Old Trafford permanently in the summer, you would assume that a large number of clubs would be extremely interested in securing his services, perhaps most of all his former club, Crystal Palace.
It is no secret that the club enquired about the possibility of taking Zaha on loan prior to his move to Cardiff being sanctioned, only for rumours to surface of Moyes dismissing the possibility of an agreement, supposedly because he wasn’t comfortable with the idea of the wide-man returning to London whilst still on United’s payroll.
Although that may be a concern for the former Everton manager, a deal that would see Zaha move on completely would take any worries from that perspective out of David Moyes’ hands, with Palace sure to be desperate to bring Wilf back to Selhurst Park, should they survive for another season in the Premier League.
Could we see a triumphant and permanent return for Wilfried Zaha this summer? It’s safe to say that we’d all love to see it.
