Managed to speak to noone and he said hell be fit for palace. Both him and mutch were up for a chat fair play. My mate in liverpool was.speaking with noone in a club in early hours after everton game. Whilst its fine for players to go out. Regularly each week I dont agree with. Beer cant help for fitness

You always know the players who are out drinking alot.
they are always nursing injuries.
Two things that cause tears and dehydrated muscles are salt intake and alcohol.
so if your drinking regular and your diet is not spot on your very likely to pick up injuries,
It also plays a part in fatigued muscles - which again can cause injury as well as slacksture performances

Maybe they weren't drinking.
Saw bellers out last night too. Top bloke, sober as a judge.

Heard a few times about Mutch drinking after games. No wonder he gets so many injuries. He looked fucked on his feet yesterday so drinking definitely won't help

If that's Mutchy pissed then I'd love to see what he can do sober

Not saying he was pissed before the game. But as quite a few players do, he often goes out after games. By the 75th minute he looked like he had nothing left in him, wouldn't surprise me if he got a tightness in his hamstring again early this week. He's quite injury prone so should look after himself a bit better

Professional athletes do not drink in the midlle of any campaign, not the ones that win anyway. Im shocked to read this, and hope there is no truth to this rumour.

Has anyone said they were drinking alcohol??
Don't see any confirmation in this thread, so maybe just a 'social' thing for Noone??
Do it myself (rarely drink when out) but doesn't mean I can't go out to be social with my friends

Just for the record they both seemed very sober.
