Sorry but Ole isn't even Championship level

Sat Mar 29, 2014 9:34 pm

As the old saying goes 'You build from the back' yet the team is shipping in goals like there's no tomorrow and the defence is making schoolboy mistakes.

Yes a point away from home in the Premiership is normally a good thing but at this stage in the season its wins which is needed and defending like that will not give the club another win this season!!

I haven't been on here that long but seem to recall similar threads from you about Malky..probably the same about DJ

When was the last manager we had that passed your criteria ?

So its all Ole's fault?, some of the blame lies with the players, at the end of the day its down to the players how they perform, all you ever do is talk crap

Shows that you haven't been reading the forum then because I backed Malky through thick and thin which the trusted forum members would agree

no its all Tans fault. Should have given Malky the season as the main objective was one spot above relegation

Making schoolboy mistakes isn't Ole's fault. And we were hardly solid at the back under Malky.

But then again, this is the person who wants Glen Hoddle as our manager.

He can't account for individual errors such as Medel's needless backwards header leading to their first goal.

Hoddles football brain would have helped the club in this situation,it least he watched the games far more than what Ole had before his appointed. I really wish Malky wasn't sacked but if he had to be then experience was ALWAYS the way to go given the situation.

Ole still doesnt seem to know his best 11!!!

Because Hoddle has had a successful career, right? (There is a reason he hasn't had a jov for years) You're basing his ability on what he says on Sky which is laughable. Ole has a footballing brain too, plenty of players he worked with have said it even SAF said it. You don't score all those goals off of the bench by luck, he studies the game. Right now he is naive and inexperienced but so was Malky and so was every other manager when they started out in the job.

Just because you talk tactics doesn't mean you're qualified as a manager. Hoddle had poor man management skills (according to former players) so how will that help in a relegation scrap?

But please answer this, why are you criticising our poor defending under Ole when it was as bad under Malky?

no its all Tans fault. Should have given Malky the season as the main objective was one spot above relegation

After getting £50m the objective was higher than 17th.

yeah it was like it is for many other teams in the Premiership Craig. However as a Championship team coming up then the level of the team is already at a lower base than the existing clubs already in the Premiership

Give Ole a full pre season of football with his team & I think we would have some great results.

Changing the whole playing style of a squad is a huge ask in the midst of a relegation battle & he's done well.
