I know it's not far away, but would we take 9000 fans anywhere? I doubt it

When have we ever been allowed more than 4k at an away game

tickets are cheap in league 1 . 1 hour and half away when you're top of the table to a new ground as well then yes we would take that many if we were given allocation under those circumstances

I know the tickets are cheap and we are never allowed to take more than 3/4k. But if we were in Wolves' position, playing someone like Bristol or Birmingham away, I couldn't see us taking more than 5k if that. 9000 is a n extremely good effort in my eyes

We wouldn't then no as most people would have to been to those grounds before, but this was Wolves 1st visit to MK Dons ground so was bound to have added interest for people to tick grounds off they haven't been to just over an hour away

Agreed, we would never take 9,000 anywhere. We took 7,500 to Arsenal a few years back and I think that's the most we've taken anywhere in recent history.

we took 7000 fans to Scunthorpe in division 3 when we won the title so I see no reason why we wouldn't do what Wolves did more or less in similar circumstances

A mate of mine is a wolves fan. He said the supporters club wanted to break record for most away fans at a league game so promoted 10k to MK. Started flying out and mk dons didnt like it so put all prices up. Nothing to do with cheap prices.
