Huge respect to the long distance travellers

Sun May 16, 2010 11:17 pm

There are always arguments about fan loyalty , who most deserves ticket rights , whether long time supporters are somehow better than recent converts etc etc.

But one thing I hope everyone can agree on is the efforts being made to come back for Saturday`s game by fans from as far afield as South Africa and USA.I would think there may be some from the BDU as well.

Anyone know of anyone who will be coming back for the game from other distant shores ?

Hi Keith,

Thanks for support. I am coming back from Panama (not found Langston yet)

What gets me is having watched all that rubbish for years in the lower leagues we are now nearly where most of thought would never be possible.

Could be an expensive season next year.....

My eldest son just got out of bed and asked for a ticket, doesn't sound like much but it's hell of an effort for him ;)

Being serious I don't know how people like BakedAlaska have the energy to travel from Derby every week just for a home game! It's truely amazing..

Anybody know if Steffan is over from Germany? Can't imagine he would miss it.
