IF EVER THERE WAS THE NEED

Wed Mar 26, 2014 9:34 pm

If ever there was the need for back to back wins, it is now.

With our next two games against West Brom and Crystal Palace who are both three points above us and part of the relegation scrap, we must achieve something we have failed to do this season and win consecutive Premier League games.

With our survival chances being out of our hands we must maximise our chances by beating the teams around us and putting together a mini run of results.

We win 3/4 of the West Brom, Palace, Stoke an Sunderland games and you have my personal guarantee we stay up :ayatollah:

Beating the next two would go a long way towards that too :bluescarf:

We definitely need minimum of 4 hopefully 6 points as teams around us will start to win. We are 6 points really behind the other clubs like Swansea as our goal difference is so bad we need the extra point

It's been over a year since we had back to back wins: 2-1 away to Blackpool and 1-0 away to Leeds. So we are due it.
I think we could get away with just achieving another 9pts as long as we beat WBA, Palace and Sunderland. Each of them have very difficult fixtures to come.

The problem is, that it is difficult to see us keeping a clean sheet at the moment, no matter what we do, five, four at the back, Marshall is still getting peppered, admittedly we have been losing to class opposition in Everton, Spurs and Liverpool, so now we will really see how good this team is against those of similar ability around us, :ole:
