He should take it, the championship is his level I would say.

Forest known for chucking a big budget around and not getting what they want. The reason Warnock didn't go there is because the owner wanted to interfere with transfers/team, so if Malky did take it, it would reek of hypocriscy

His real name is Malcolm but chooses to go against his Christian name and call himself Malky, therefore he doesn't even respect himself or his father's name. I choose to call him Milky as he has sucked the club dry of money from transfers and wasted money on what could have solidified us in the prem

Would be very surprised if he went there.

Although he would be guaranteed a budget in the summer on top of what is already a pretty good squad. And we all know by now if there's one thing Milky likes it's money.

I really don't get how they haven't achieved promotion yet. They should have easily beaten Blackpool in the 09/10 playoffs, they are an underperforming club when you consider the history. Great squad atm but riddled with injuries apparently. I'm shocked as well, the article says they've already spoken to Hoddle and Zola though.

If Mackay took the job there would that mean we wouldn't have to pay him off?

Isn't still in a dispute with Tan? If he is I doubt he's going anywhere until it is sorted.

But the Forest job suits him. The Championship is his level, the talk of him taking over Norwich or WBA earlier on in the season was laughable.

But fail to see how this is worth a sticky.

Would seem to be out of the frying pan into the fire if he went to Forest.

Reading between the lines as to why Warnock turned them down it seems as if the owner wants to be "hands on" in much the same way as Tan likes to be.

I'm sure he'll be looking for a job where he does not have such an interfering owner/chairman.

I'm not sure, football nowadays means all chairmen want to be hands on, because the money they pour in is a considerable amount so have a right to

Agree with you Party but there's a fine line between being involved and actively interfering in footballing matters.

There are still some owners willing to leave footballing matters to footballing people!

Warnock initially was involved in advanced talks and had practically taken the job, then zola confirmed his interest in the job and the club halted talks with warnock to speak with zola, which angered warnock and he walked out. It has nothing to do with al-hasawi meddling as previously mentioned.

You mean just a fraction of the money which he earned for the club by getting us to the Premier League in the first place.

So I take it any posts calling Dave Jones "moans" will be edited, along with Peter Ridsdale or "riddler" and no more Vincent Tan being called a clown or dictator.
Works both ways.

Hope Malky gets the job, big club Forest with big fan base and would be great to see them back in the PL, some clubs suite certain leagues and Forest should be a PL club, size of the City and tradition they have especially winning 2 European cups, come on Malky :bluescarf: :old: :bluescarf:

Forest is a good club for Malky - great support, tradition, passion, stuttering the last few seasons to achieve the consistency required to get to the Premiership.

And Malky managed to achieve that consistency with the City in the last 2 seasons before this one.

I wish him all the best - never forget what he did for us, ever

From that list surely Hoddle is the obvious one they would want.

Malky would do ok for them I would think, he can buy some players of us then as well hopefully.
