I'm getting picked up at 9.45 for West Brom, we were all hoping to find somewhere nice to stop off on the way to have some breakfast to set myself up for the day, or somewhere to have some lunch when we get up there, but the police have decided to spoil it by demanding to meet us at 1pm! It's the time that bothers me, 2 hours before kick off meaning by the time they are finished with us, we will probably have to go straight to the stadium. In my area, it will be difficult to find anywhere to go to have a breakfast in time before getting picked up. If the police demanded to meet us an hour earlier at 12, fair enough. But it looks like we will be kept waiting on our coaches until 1pm which will give us very little time to go anywhere else before kick off. I want to go to away games to have a good day out, not get treated like a criminal. To me, it seems once again, the police want to spoil our day out completely.

If its anything like past trips mate they will keep you at the RV Point till 2-15 then drive you at 35mph to get to the ground at 2-50 where thousands of away fans will try and squash through 3 turnstilles and miss the first 15mins of the game.
Then after the game you will board your bus for a 60min tour of west midlands industrial estates.......after which you will drive down the M5 passing the hawthorns on your left.......be escorted to the M50 where the west midlands police will cheerely wave you on your way with a smile.....and a come back and see us soon farewell.
Have A good day

Cant you get advice from vince or other prominent mwmbers of the away travel group, this is the first mention of an RV isnt it ?? the West Ham RV first game of the season ruined the day completely.

That's my worry, the West Ham RV ruined the day completely and I'm worried the same will hapen this Saturday. The people I'm travelling with are within the travel group and are aware so I'm sure the prominent members will do what they can.
