THE LONGEST DIVE IN FOOTBALL

Mon Mar 24, 2014 12:57 pm

Can anyone tell me why the free kick was taken from?
When Sturridge dived he was looking for a penalty he was inside the D.
That said bloody cheat if that wasn't bad enough that the ref fell for it.
They then take the free kick from a position at least 5 metres further out and to the left to give them an opportunity to get the ball up and over the wall we all know it resulted in a deflection and subsequent corner from which they scored.
Terrible decision in the first place and then conceded a cheep goal.
Gerrard should have had a second yellow and Johnson also be penalised for the foul on Fabio.
On a posative if we keep scoring from pushing high up the pitch from open play we have a chance!!

I don't tend to agree with that sorry mate. Three poor decisions from the referee which cost us the 3 goals which we lost the game by. Two fouls and then when we were down to 9 men!

Gerrard gets sent off at 1 nil.........the ref uses common sense regarding Mutch being sent to touchline for their 3rd...not sure they would have won in any case..one things for sure we are not going to beat anyone with a ref like that.
