WERE YOU ON THE MARCH?

Mon Mar 24, 2014 11:52 am

Just to get an idea of how many on this board are supporting the blue campaign

Re: WERE YOU ON THE MARCH?

I spent Saturday with my 1 year old and wife after taking a sabbatical from Cardiff games until he's a bit older. I've been on previous marches but didn't go on this one even though I supported it and would fully back any peaceful marches in the future that demand a return to blue. :ayatollah:

Just because someone didn't go on the march doesn't mean they don't support the back to blue campaign ! Whatever that is .

i fail to understand how some can not see the huge difference in numbers of those marching {even if it was 4000 } to how many wear blue at the game..
those in blue that didnt march have made a deliberate choice to wear {mostly old} blue clothes.. its just different people have different thoughts on what the blue campaign should be and means to them as individuals.

Regardless of whether people were on the march,in the ground wearing blue or holding aloft their blue scarfs they are supporting the campaign to return to blue, the most important thing is numbers are growing fast.

there is very little appetite for red at Cardiff, has never been.
the divide appears over whether you turn up in blue to show your not buying into the rebrand, or want to go further and piss him off{ in his words } to drive him out of the club.

Imo people don't want to drive him out they just want him to recognize we have a history and to respect it,just because people disagree with something he has done it doesn't mean they want to drive him out, there is a thing called compromise and we all have to do it at some point in our lives whether it's in a marriage,in work,in a disagreement with friends or many other situations,Compromise is a good thing and Tan nor anyone else is exempt from it.

Re: WERE YOU ON THE MARCH?

I was there from the Napier to the ground, after a dodgy start (groups going in different directions  ) a great feeling of togetherness during march.
I was quite near the front and the feeling seeing so many behind looking back from the corner of Sloper road and then after entering through the gates and seeing the whole of the road rammed was awesome.
I would suggest mind that many perhaps didn't go to main entrance and perhaps went straight into Ninian & Grange as it seemed to disperse a bit??
The waving of scarves in front of entrance and chanting was another moment to remind of what our club is all about :ayatollah:

Personally I would like VT to leave but I think you've put the other side very well there. I recognise he's done many good things too and feel frustrated he's putting everyone through all this.

I felt really happy on Saturday though to see so many fans backing the blue and regardless of what he does, I feel like we've reclaimed our club.

It made me realise how important it is to keep up the protest whether it's the sea of blue at 19.27 or a march or whatever.

I respect those who've walked away massively but I believe in resistance from the inside. BLUEBIRDS

No I was not on the March..

What's does it prove though?

I could've clicked YES even though I did not attend.

Pretty pointless Poll to be fair...

I don't think it was meant to prove anything.
