They spend more time talking nonsense and analysing inconsequential things than showing the actual football itself. If Gerrard had committed those two bookable challenges in a game against Chelsea or Man City then they wouldn't have shut up about it ( it would also have been on the back of every newspaper and debated in every sports column as well.) but because it's against a 'smaller' club then it doesn't matter. The way the programme is now, perhaps they should have a guest 'comedian' on every week

No point getting annoyed about MoTD any-more. They never mention us even if we play well (if I remember rightly they were talking about how poor City/United were instead of crediting us) So long we aren't competing in the top half of the table we'll never get fair coverage.

Same goes for any club outside of the top half.

It's sad they don't talk about key moments.

In a way, I'm glad they don't give us a lot of airtime - I'm glad I don't have to watch pundits ripping our defence apart every week and going over our errors with a fine toothed comb...
