Kim Bo

Sat Mar 22, 2014 9:05 pm

Watching the game again on match choice, Kim's play is poor overall and is a weak link in the team. His passing is poor, and is defence abilities even worse, the away he stood off coutinho to let him cross the ball for the 2nd goal was poor.

Malky had a bit of a blind spot with Whittingham and kept on picking him even when he did not deserve to be in the team.

Ole seems to have the same situation with Kimbo.

Maybe, both not good enough for this level.

Agree.

Dsehli got to start instead. The Everton wing went past him far too easy for their winner last week and today he was at fault for their second

Re: Kim Bo

His all round game today was very poor constantly out of position and never offered anything going forward or back. Shame really as he is talented. Would rather see Daehli play who has everything Kim has and a lot more

Besides the odd bit if trickery he hasn't offered much, set up a couple of goals this season that's about it, expected alot more from him this season after bigging him up last season.

We dont really have anyone else like Kim to play the position, I guess the idea is he can find a pass.

I agree he doesnt work but we lack options.

Daelhi?

Maybe, I'm unsure if he fits it. Daelhi would replace Bellamy imo.

Have a look at this, its Mats vs Czech Republic... He can fill that role: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDpE-zzfFkQ

I'm not questioning his talent, I just think his talent is further forward.

he has all the gear but no idea.

Difficult one, this - Kim's been pretty average for the most part. Whitts has been relatively poor (mainly due to the recent quality of his normally good set pieces), but for me, Daehli and even Zaha don't offer much other than running at the opposition.

For me, Daehli and Zaha lack that killer pass at the end of their run - although Zaha came on yesterday and played fairly well, too often they'll take the ball on a long run and eventually get crowded out by defenders - Declan John is guilty of this too.

I think Kimbo looks tired and has done for quite a few games now. Let's face it, he is muscled off the ball too often and has taken a pounding in a lot of matches.

Kimbo looks sluggish and has since a few games into the season

last season?

Re: Kim Bo

I thought with the way he finished last season we had someone who would make the jump up easily. He just seems too physically weak getting bumped off the ball regular. I am more disappointed in him than anyone this season.

Re: Kim Bo

He just needs to bulk up a bit. Constantly pushed off the ball this season. He's got good skill and half decent feet but he just needs to strengthen up :ayatollah:

Eikrem is best in kims position, he has the killer passess as his strength :ole: :ayatollah:

Re: Kim Bo

Completely agree. He's very unreliable.

Re: Kim Bo

Mon Mar 24, 2014 2:59 am

He's terrible at this level. No assists and only one goal. I fail to see what he offers for the team apart from being pushed off of the ball constantly.

He could make a tidy Championship player but nothing more. If we stay up he should be moved on ASAP

Zaha is an out and out winger imo, that wouldn't be his position. He is a different type player him and Kim offer different things.

Disagree on Dahli, his offensive play has everything Kim has and more and he is 5 years younger so plenty of time to grow, can't see why anyone that watched him get a rare start against wigan would doubt his passing ability. At the moment Dahli is mostly used as substitute for the wingers that isn't his natural position. Against wigan he was playing in his position and was the best player on the pitch, motm. OGS is pacing him but given time i expect him to be the playmaker of the team.

Last season I thought that kimbo would be the one to make the biggest step up...instead it was
Mutch, funny how things turn out

TBH I thought it would be Mutch and Kim but sadly Kim hasnt upped his game like Mutch has....just a shame about his injuries.
