They all declined tan's offer, but sure they will find a way to blame him for that

We were not offered to spk to Tan, it was the Chairman, it would of been pointless, 10 mins before kickoff

But Ive received a message tonight, the club def want to talk to us  But to me unless its fully back to BLUE, they are waisting their time and ours

Fair enough, I misread the press release it was dahlman. Still, if the offer was there would have been good to take it.

We were not invited to meet Tan, it was Dalman that offered to meet us.

We declined as the meeting was for 10 minutes before kick off, if a meeting is to be held with the organisers of the protest then it should be with Tan and it should be a minuted and scheduled meeting that can then be made public to all fans :ayatollah:

When will you ever understand that you need to get to Dalman and the board before you get Tan? Jesus the lobby skills on some here...Join the trust i say...what do you think your bargening chips are? We do another 14% march?

Lol

The club came to us, it is not us going to them.

We have made our point quite clear don't you think?

We turned down an invitation by the chairman, we never protested to get a meeting.

Yes you most certainly did! And the naivety and belief in your power is sadly a one way street..

Official position: Organisers did not refuse to meet the Club / Chairman, we (all CCFC supporters groups) expressed that 10 mins before kick off would not be enough time to give the matter the adequate time that the issue so rightly deserves. We thanked them for the offer and welcomed the opportunity to speak again in the near future. The club accepted this and said they will work with us to arrange a meeting as soon as possible.

I see what you did there, you noted the overall attendance (28k) and simply divided it by the 4k who marched from the Napier (14%) cool :thumbright:

You didn't count the other few thousand who turned up outside the front of the stadium, not the 90% who were in blue in the ground.

So 2.5k away fans ignored in your equation , 2k additional fans who turned up for the protest outside the ground ignored and 20k fans in blue in the stadium ignored.

Cool story bro

Annis now is the time for the masses to be totally uncompromising , yesterday was an awsome display, granted we should have done it two years ago but we have got the ball rolling , and is it rolling, lets not waste it. Full respect to the organisers and those who marched it far exceeded my expectation. Sea of Blue should be every game now, it was really powerful and made our man cringe :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Surely a meeting is a step forward?
What did you protest for?

A terrible decision Imo,the club offered an olive branch and it was turned down.I wouldn't blame or be surprised if the offer Mehmet made was withdrawn and just carried on with their normal meetings with the trust, supporters club etc.

A terrible decision???havent you read any of the above?,10 mins was not enough time, the issue would surely go on for hours, what would be achieved in 10 mins, but judging from your user name you haven't got much if an idea anyway

The right thing to do was to meet him personally face to face, look him in the eye and say thank you for meeting us,we appreciate it but...........

Now do you get it

The club know the offer would be rejected. 10 minutes to discuss something that is important to so many people shows a complete lack of respect. Unless they intended not to watch the match. Olive branch my arse.

What's to sink in the chairman who has no affiliation with this club up until this past year wants to try and discuss a matter that is important to a group of people that spent a lot of time organising the protest and he says meet us ten minutes before an important match. I appreciate your not in favour of the fight for restoring our rightful identity but why you try to mock people who do is very strange.

But surely a better timed meeting should've been organised in those 10 minutes in which the club offered?

He's not mocking though. What he is saying makes sense. Meet for ten minutes, take the olive branch and then take action points which could be a follow up meeting.

P.s. Mehmet has been there longer than they've been planning the march

Yeah he has been there longer than they planned the protest  I can understand what he is trying to say and I do get it .just don't agree that's all. the organisers are the ones with the feelings for the club not the chairman he doesn't care if he misses the start of the game. The club knew that one of the things planned was the scarves being raised during men of Harlech just before kick off and the organisers would have missed it.

Re: Did the club honour their promise?

Brilliant protest hope we all keep it moving forward we are all now in the hands of the organisers and I really really desperately hope they care this on and represent all of us in the right way and that is we want all are identity back full stop.

Then I woukd have said take it and make it succinct to finish by kick off. A handful of people missing wouldn't have affected the scarf thing and it may have opened the path to proper dialogue on the whole issue at a later date
