Had a very good point about making it law not to change a kit and badge. What is there in place to stop any owner coming in and implementing his/her ideas to a traditional kit. Nothing that's the answer.

I agree with what he said but where would we be without vinnies cash ?

He articulates what we think and feel perfectly, I'm proud to have him as a spokesperson for our club and for football in general. He's a proper fan and a proper football man.

Answer is that knowone knows, we could be mid table, flirting relegation or could have been near the playoffs again, or even won at wembley this time and gone up. Malky got us to the playoffs on a limited budget, who's to say he could have gone one better on the same budget the season after.

It was vinnies cash that got us up then Malky blew it that's why we are in this mess now

I think we'd be higher in the league with a fighting chance with Malky, i say that purely on football grounds with no bias.
Don't want to be negative on matchday but i think Ole has proved an awful signing. He tried to change our playing style too quickly. a mistake most experienced managers wouldn't make.

Vinnies cash got us up to an extent, but it came at a cost. He forcibly implemented changes without consultation of the fans, something that is very important. If he had a vote and fans agreed with him about the kit change , then we'd have nothing to complain about. It is the manor it has been done. No consideration to the most important part of the club, the fans. The mess could have all been averted if he hadn't done the kit change as it's split the fan base and instead of pulling together and cheering the players on as one, the atmosphere is filled with tension due to people's views on the rebrand. Even last season, a season which we all should have been the happiest we have ever been, it felt hollow. It felt from my point of view like another team had gone up. There wasn't a sense of love which I've felt before.

We are in this mess right now because of vinnies meddling, which inevitably had a knock on effect on the team. Malky would have kept us up without the meddling IMO

No-one knows you are right, but without paying off all the creditors we would have had to sell everything we had, and most likely gone into administration. In which case we would have been fighting relegation. Malky's first year got us in the play-offs, but he signed 10 players for that and we were still running at a big loss with VT putting in a million a month.
The club has been heading for oblivion for years and each time we have had to take another knock to stay alive.. from Hammam to Risdsdale to Tan , it's not been a sudden thing, we've been gambling for years and are paying the price now. There is however a chink of light as all the money is now owed to VT. if he can be persuaded to change back to blue then who knows...

So in summary, knowone actually knows what could have happened. Another owner may have stepped if tan was unwilling to invest. All theoretical of course. What we can do now at present is continue to campaign against the rebranding and see what positives that brings.
