Think this is scaremongering. Tan never has tried to change our name.

He did say 'never say never' when asked about it recently. To me it seems like a logical and realistic continuation of his past behaviour. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

He did but he never tried. The way I see it is if he wanted to he would have done it from the beginning at the same time as the colour and badge change.

He's a meglomaniac, has to control & reshape EVERYTHING in his own image.

My mate always says that he didn't sign Ole and Delmet did? i can't see this in a million years, anyone know who signed Ole?

This is no joke! I know for a fact the lack of steel in shipping industry is done by tan and his spaceship build in malaysia.
Obviusly this is to ease away travel time. Psv operator licence is restricting carlos coaches to 16 away supporters on travel
To away games clearly indicates this devious plan. Cardiff city shirt is now only made in sizes s/m, which also is a clear sign!
There is no two ways about it :old:

If it wasn't allowed at Hull, there is no need to worry about Tan trying to change our name

Absolutely not, but before that decision was made, I was very concerned that we would be next.

Top clubs consider overseas games
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 232390.stm

We believe that an 'international round' of matches will enhance the strength of the Barclays Premier League as a competition. (Richard Scudamore Premier League chief executive, 2008)

Malaysia FC & playing a competitive match in Malaysia is not unrealistic & not so far-fetched when a portion of this subject was being actively promoted by the Chief Executive of the Premier League in 2008
Furthermore, there is no chance the PL would allow a name change on the first attempt. Bad publicity, I am sure they are secretly open to the idea.

Only a person of low intelligence (Idiot) will believe an owners' wish to change the name of the club will definatley not happen in the future. All the PL cares about is £££££££££££££££££.

The PL committee already proved it has no agenda to protect a clubs' identity. Cardiff City anyone? can you link what I am saying now & comprehend??

Re: If Vincent Tan had his way

Sat Mar 22, 2014 6:59 am

the reason Hull was denied a name-change is in my opinion because the owner has not put enough money into the PL system to gather PL committee support. The top clubs do not need a name change as they are well respected brands in their own right.

The right conditions/climate for name change will revolve around an owner plowing serious cash into a not so famous club to then have leverage with the right PL people to make it happen.

Tan & Allam do not fit this category thank the lord as they have not invested enough into the PL brand. Soz I am moody today, in a tizz over the march later on, brings alot of repressed feelings about the rebrand to the surface :ayatollah: :ayatollah: look forward to today

10% would be something to be proud about on here  I can settle for that when the average would be around 1 in every 100 posts (1%) having anything decent

My last post was disingenuous, I revise my figures to 10% decent posts on this forum & I am happy to flirt with the median number of decent postage.

I honestly think some posters are deliberately bringing the forum to it's knees. I tried to stop posting but failed! I will stick to my commitment to give it a rest till next season if Cardiff don't play in blue today
