A lot of our away support refuse to go to home games because of our clown of an owner - as soon as we are back in blue and our fans are united then you will be a lot closer to getting the home atmosphere you want

What nonsense.
Atmosphere was awful long before the rebrand.

Atmosphere was worse than ninan park before the rebrand - but still a decent atmosphere
Its been an awful atmosphere since the rebrand - Only two memorable games for atmosphere
1. When we got promoted
2. When we beat Man City

Where as away we are totally out numbered and make a stand, hence the noise for 90 mins. I have only done half of our home games but done nearly all the aways for the last few seasons due to this. Its no fun down the CCS on a match day like it used to be. Maybe the Liverpool game will be like the Man City atmosphere which was class. I also think us fans who travel away have a slight screw missing or something which helps

I agree entirely. Point well made.
I am trying to persuade the home fans to become a lot crazier and participate, not just observe.

In an ideal world that would be fantastic - but not all fans want to go to a stadium and shout and chant with the rest
The Family stand & Large portions of the grandstand and ninian are there to watch the game and have no interest in joining in with the chants - it doesnt make them any less of a fan - they just dont find that aspect of football that important for them and its the same in all clubs
The onus is on the Canton and the sections of the ninan and grandstand who want to create an atmosphere to do so

I don't entirely disagree with your comment.
But far from being idealistic, I believe that unless we take responsibility to change the culture at the Stadium (by being prepared to add our lone voice in amongst the quieter sections of the ground), the atmosphere at CCS will remain as it is.
That takes people who are prepared to be leaders rather than follow the rest, acquiesce and give in to the cultural status quo. Culture can change very quickly. But for that to happen in this case it will require supporters to man up until the tipping point.

So you think a stadium full of divided fans, worrying about our copious off the field issues, some wearing blue & some whereing red and both having strong opinions on each other is going to have a better atmosphere than a united fan base in a sea of blue concentrating on supporting the team??
That sounds like nonsense to me fella
