Would Tan have changed r club name if he could?(Hull stylee)

Looking at the way Hull name change has been blocked by FA, I just wonder if that is the only thing that stopped VT pushing for a full rebrand including the name of the club. It's obvious he didn't want the Bluebird on the badge and that was, looking back, a major triumph getting it added to the new dragon based design.

I can't stand the new badge. I'm as Welsh as anyone but that dragon belongs on our national flag and national team badge. Is it just me? :ole:

The other thing is I would like to move the bluebird above the dragon. It looks like it is being stood on ffs

wtf? why are you compromising on the badge? its been defacated on & needs to be restored not altered. So what if the Dragon poops out the bluebird?? If the bluebird has to poop out a Dragon the badge would look just as indecent.

Fair point. All I was saying is that even the layout hasn't been thought out. A bird in flight wouldn't be beneath a standing dragon.

You are right though - Why compromise? The only pure sensible badge would be a return to the Bluebird as before.

True mate! No compromises, love our club as it is, and if an owner wants to change the design of the crest, then work with the fan-base like Everton do. If any new design of the crest looks good (more marketable) then trust us the fans to do what is best for our club

That Bluebird has given us the luck we needed for past success so I don't see why a cloud change to a lucky colour makes a difference. After all, the national team of Malaysia play in yellow and black and the badge contains a tiger!

No red and no dragon!!!

Mind you, they aren't world beaters. Lol.
