comments,
Ninian Park was very tasty. Intimidating but a real football atmosphere. I really miss grounds like that.

Cardiff for me. First game of the season 1999. I think the whole of the valleys had turned out some real beasts roaming the city.

Firstly Ninian Park - we played there in the FA Cup in the 90s and got a draw to take them to a replay. They didn't like it. IRA chants, religious flags, hail, thunder, clouds rolling in from the valleys; a dark, dark place. The one and only time I have seen a poor fellow Glover bloodied after having been bottled by one of the host 'fans'.

Definitely Ninian Park. Had coins thrown at me from one side, bottles from the other, cracking ground tho.

Ninian Park for me too - it was Aug 2001, so just in the lead up to the Leeds aggro that winter at NP. I had heard Wycombe and Brighton had got grief too there in that period. Coins and bottles from the right, older meatheads to the left in the side stand. Hardly any women there either, just men, some with small kids.
Bournemouth fan

Agree , that was a disgrace and whoever was in charge should have been sacked . Should have just let the fans on the pitch . Although with hindsight , typical cardiff organisation frankly
