I know this is a long shot...I'm looking for a sponsor/sponsors to sponsor my under 12s football team next season, we have had the same kit for the past 3-4 years and in dire need of a new kit. if anyone would be willing to sponsor the team that would be great. If you know of anyone also that would be great too. We have a squad of 16 players with some playing for RCT Academy and the Cardiff Academy. the team is Rhydyfelin AFC under 12s for next season.

How much do you need?

to be honest I would be grateful for anything, if we get a few sponsors I be more than happy to put the company name on the shirt, training tops, tracksuits etc..I know some people when asking for a sponsor ask for ex amount, but our team would be grateful for anything.
I would like to say though to both of you thank you for taking an interest really appreciate it

In my opinion, from past experience, it would be better if you had an amount in mind and what the company would get for their money, e.g. £750 for a new set of strips with the company's name on the front....or organise a bag-pack at a local supermarket, my team raised over £600 for 9 hours packing bags at a small local co-op, in 1 and a half hour shifts....just an idea.

our whole football club tend to bag pack at tescos but we want to raise our own funds for a new kit etc...well whoever was to sponsor us would have their company name across the new strip thats for sure

We sponsored our local football team trethomas bluebirds last season, we went to a few local company's and got the best price.... I think we ended up with Merlin sports on treforest industrial estate, the whole kit including printing was around the £500 mark.
Is it only kit you are looking for sponsorship? What about banners or boards around the ground?

our football club is rather large.. our junior section is under 13s, 12s, 11s, 10s, 9s, 8s and 7s...most of the coaches try and raise money for their own side. the seniors do nothing so a lot would rather not help them sort of thing, look after your own if you know what i mean. i live 2 minutes way from merlin, i have seen a few cheaper kits but want the team looking rather smart, i have priced up an adidas kit online and it comes to around £465 i can get a new nike kit for maybe the same price too

Get a quote for the printing, I may be interested in doing a deal for my new company Taff Trail bike hire, or my fitness facility Legends gym in Pontypridd.

OMG really. I just did a quick price on a 16 Adidas kits in total £425.49, without printing, if you was will to help us out im sure i could speak to parents to cover the cost of printing etc. The kit is for next season,
I would also plug your sponsor on our facebook page, i sort of run our website but it doesn't get used much, i could always start getting back up to scratch and getting the local community in using it. i would also put a link on there to your website too.

Get your lads outside Asda with a bucket one Saturday.
They let a different charity / cause pitch outside their store.
I always give to the junior sports teams.

if you was willing to get the new kit, whatever we raised then in fund raising..we would get training tops or tracksuits and then put your logo on them as well. we would pay too as we would fund raise for it. Hope that made sense then

My position is this... If I spend £500 on a new kit and then you come and say to me the cost of getting the items printed with your logo is far more than we expected, say for example it costs £150 do I then need to put in another £150?? Or wait for a length of time until you can raise the funds to do this??
Ideally I would like you to come to me with a price of kit with logos and say to me this is the total price of the sponsor deal would you like to go ahead?

I totally understand were your coming from, I would need a Jpeg of your logo, the size in which you would want it too. if you was to go ahead and sponsor us, before I purchase a kit I would make sure there was cash in which we raised already in the kitty to cover the printing costs, then I could come back to you and say its a go, what else I could do is, once I find the Kit, I could give you all the sizes etc and you could order it yourself. That's of course if you decided to sponsor us.
i will inbox you my email.

But you wouldn't need to purchase the kit the sponsor would do that... You need to get searching around for the total price of the sponsor deal inc the printing first. Are they inclusive of VAT ?
