Declan John

As I have always stated, he is not a left back. He got out jumped by gareth barry of all people for the header that led to the goal, is it any wonder since fabio has been pushed forward we seem to be doing better. The same will happen if Declan John gets pushed forward IMO, while he is at left back we will struggle in defence.

He was excellent against Tottenham as a wing back. He was always going to lose that header, he must be around 5ft 6, 5ft 7? Still our best left back though. Barry has a fair size height difference to him. If we stay up its a position we need to improve in but he's more than good enough for championship

He is better than Taylor that's for sure, unfortunately we have no other left back so we are stuck with him. I'm not denying he's a good player but he is not a left back, he has been beat to the ball to many times over the last couple of months costing us vital goals.

I agree with you. If we stay up I think he should be loaned out. His best game was as a left wing back rather than a left back. That says it all. He's young though and is a great prospect

Considering his age and lack of experience I think he's doing very very well. Would be better suited to a loan out perhaps but with taylors injuries he's been dropped in the deep end.

well i don't know why people are raving about him ? Super kev is a much better player. Declan John is so overated its unbelievable , when has he ever tried to go outside his man ? NEVER, he always cuts back inside stops and looks to pass it !!!
