Zaha up top with Campbell??

Sat Mar 15, 2014 8:32 am

Why not try this?? Alright hes not going to be a target man like Jones, but hes got a bit of pace and a nice shot on him. In midfield I don't see him strong enough and not commiting himself as Noone,Mutch etc do to get back and help out defending. I honestly think this would be our best chance of goals. He wouldn't be doing as much running around so nearing end of games he would have chances to kill games no doubt. :ayatollah: :ole:

I thought this was the early team sheet, then!

Maybe worth a shot as 'Plan B' but I'd like to see (as hinted elsewhere this week) Bellamy given the free-role with Jones and Campbell up front

Craig 'rested' and chomping at the bit to help steer us out of the bottom three, Jones starting to play to his strengths and Campbell due a goal or two!

No, mate. I doubt it. Good side to be fair, but Ole already said he wasn't planning to use three at centre back

May be worth looking how they link up in training and how Zaha would play that role. I think Zaha in a free role of a striker would work well

I'd play Zaha and Noone. COunter attack we'd be dangerous.

I said last week I'd like to see him play just behind the striker. He has the balance, power power and pace to do it.
