RIP. An honorable man unlike the majority of freeloaders who screw us tax payers in the disguise as mps.
What always gets me with our hypocritical mps is the way they say false things after someone has died. Cameron's tribute to tony benn makes me want to vomit.

Agreed, like him or loathe him he was (unlike todays lot)a conviction led politician that very few of his peers would openly take on in debate.

Agree with all the comments.
Another one of the true characters in British politics has gone. A quite unique man whose convictions led him to stand against his (very literal) peers to stop Lord Bloggs, the drug addict playboy walking into parliament just because he inherited a title from his demented and out of touch father!
RIP Tony.
And what do we have in his place? A whole seam of morally questionable, party-liners who never answer a direct question and are too concerned about their career to say what they really think.

Also known as the man who did more damage to British Industry than the Luftwaffe - his convictions led to disastrous consequences, but at least he was decent, unlike the shower of shit we have today.
RIP
