Looking at what has been sold i'd reckon it's 17-19k gone, but still loads left including plenty of very good seats in centre of Ninian and the new level.

The ones gone will indicate season tickets sold - apart from some areas which they won't sell on-line - front of the new stand , Family Stand,centre grand stand etc.. they also seem to have held a few rows back in the new stand above the away fans - prob for sell-on-the-day to dissuade troublemakers trying to get in there..

On the other hand, the club can't sell ALL the tickets available as they have to keep a % for match day.

My guess on what we can see there..

Given someone reckoned there were 900 left in the Family Stand a week or so ago, I'd guess some would have been sold since, the stand holds 6000 - so thats probably about 5k-5500 gone. Looks like about 2/3 gone in the Ninian (4k) and similar in the Grandstand (2-3k), more like 50% in the Canton (2-3k), small numbers in the corners .. and then about 600 ish gone in the top stand, add onto this the premier Lounge (2000 ish if most taken, which they allegedly are..) and new block 411-417 above the Ninian Stand that's 17-19000 in total, in line with the higher estimates we've seen and well above the doomsday scenarios some were trying to paint.

On the e-ticketing it says on general sale, but when you go to buy one then you cannot get a price.

I popped in today to pick up my Everton tickets and the guys were turning people away who wanted season tickets saying they were on general sale from 1st April.


Apologies if I've misled anyone, that's twice now after the programme said Wigan tickets were on sale and they weren't. Only repeating what I read though

The order is basically this isnt it?

1. Season ticket holders
2. Gold Members
3. Silver Members
4. Any other waiting list
5. general sale

We are only on stage 2 of that process............

The reason why the tickets are down is because we have a chance of going down. You watch if we end up staying up. Season tickets will be sold out and then we'll have its unfair they are sold out.....if you love your club get seson ticket cardiff are for life not just the premier league
